I read this (negative delay) paper more than a decade ago. Thanks for sharing this CC, it’s good to refresh always. Also, nicely explained feed forward concept for differential rings.

You mention towards the beginning that the PMOS skew is more noticeable in older technology nodes. How old are we talking? Some people define anything above 14nm now as “old”

Hi Michael, nice to meet you and thank you for the good question. Correct. I should mention that the Planar device is old, and I meant the Fin FET device as the new technology. So, > = 28nm is old, but = < 16nm is still new. :)
