Demonstration based Newtons Rings concept is here to understand Why Newtons Rings are Circular? Concept of locus of constant thickness in Newtons rings Experiment is discussed in detail. Lecture in Hindi. If You Like this video please share for the benefit of poor students who can't pay fees of pvt. Tuitions etc.
►In Exam you can write the answer as
The locus of points of constant thickness of air wedge film lies on a circle with the point of contact of Plano convex lens and glass plate as centre, hence constant path difference is a circle as seen from the top. So Newtons rings are circular.
