The Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy, which was founded in 1808, originally under the title of “The Missionaries of France.” The community was founded for the purpose of re-evangelizing the people of France after the Catholic Faith had been subjected to years of attacks and persecution during the French Revolution. It is now exclusively an American community. The Generalate of the Congregation is located in Auburn, Kentucky. The primary apostolate of the Fathers of Mercy is to conduct parish missions and retreats throughout the United States and other countries when called upon. The Congregation also staffs The National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion in Green Bay, WI, and two rural parishes in the Archdiocese of Louisville, Kentucky.

Excellent homily Father. The one thing that drives me crazy is when someone says, "I'm a good person." or "They're a good person." As you said, define 'good'.

My late sister in law, (and best friend in the world) said this about my brother, who passed 7 months before she did. I wouldn't have said anything, to hurt her, for anything, but wanted her to pray for his soul, so, I waited a few weeks, and said, "but you, of all people know that is not enough".She brought me to Catholicism. I felt bad about it, as her brother had died, 2 weeks after my brother, her husband. I really wanted her to pray, since I knew she too was dying..

Heavenly Father you have given me more than I know I deserve. I come before You with gratitude being a single mom with two sons with special needs. I pray that you bless me with your love, grace, and strength, as I tirelessly care for my family. I ask that You provide for my every need and sustain me in my daily struggles. Because Lord I’m overwhelmed struggling to pay rent each and every month struggling to buy groceries. I wish I had an easier life. Lord hear my prayers.❤️

I thought to hear a good talk from a Father of Mercy, but was surprised to hear a talk seemingly focused on judgement, fear, and trembling. God is love. Agape love. Unconditional love. It is this we are to pursue, not out of fear of judgement of our sinful lives, but because the Lord Jesus Christ erased that sinful life by the Cross. He wiped the slate clean so that we might have life. Now, for the love of God, use that opportunity to spread this Good News to all that you meet! You can have a life of agape! We can live in the Divine Life! The Kingdom has been brought to us to live now with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is mercy. This is love. This is the unconditional, unfathomable love of the Father. And thank God for that!

Thanks Father! Happy day!! A little more beyond, it is written (Daniel 1:12): "'Test us for ten days,' he (Daniel) said. 'Give is vegetables to eat and water to drink.'" I don't have the stomach for ten consecutive days of the aforementioned, thus I'm employing 'divide and conquer' tactics. The feast day of the Prophet and Saint Daniel is July 21st, and the last intended day of such fast (per my intent). All are welcome to join in however they so choose, as for myself the intended ten days are: July 2nd July 3rd July 7th July 9th July 10th July 14th July 17th July 18th July 20th July 21st Proverbs 15:17, "It is better to be invited to herbs with love, than to a fatted calf with hatred." We must study to show ourselves approved to God (1 Timothy 2:15): Anyone who first turns to God through Jesus is like a babe (Hebrews 5:13). We must come to Him as we are. The only way a babe can grow in God is by reading with the Holy Spirit, praying, and doing everything Jesus has said about God the Father and himself. Jesus has told the entire world what eternal life is: it is to know both him and the Father (John 17:3). Who can know the mind of God [the Father] unless God himself reveals it to him; even Jesus doesn’t know all of the things of God the Father until it is revealed to him (Mark 13:32, Matthew 24:36). As we read God’s word, He will reveal more and more of His truth to us. As God has said through Jesus, for whosoever has to him shall be given, and he shall have more in abundance: but whosoever has not from him shall be taken away even that he has (Matthew 13:12). Those who listen and do the words of Jesus will know God, for all that Jesus said is from God the Father (John 12:49-50).

First time to listen thy I don't understand. Audio is terrible. The ans to pope F to shorten homilies cuz people sleep. Protestants are well educated on how to speak n always their audio are good. They invest on this equipment
