If youve seen the Nuggets the biggest thing is their faith in Jokic. Theres clips of MPJ full sprint to the basket BEFORE Jokics even got the ball. Thats some bs cus now you have 2 problems that can score immediately

@@fyks669 nope, the 90's and early 2000's were the greatest defense of all time because you were actually allowed to play defense, with hand checking shooting is harder than you may think, there was a ton of players averaging over 3 steals and they will do whatever it takes to get the ball, there was passion and effort in those players, the bad boys pistons would get ejected every game if they played in today's soft NBA, the 90's is in fact the greatest era of all time, you had the greatest passer magic, the greatest ball stealer Stockton, the greatest shot blocker olajuwon, the greatest perimeter defender Payton, the greatest rebounder rodman, the most dominant player shaq and the greatest scorer ever as well as the GOAT, MJ. About the 2000's, you got players like Ben Wallace, Wallace Is the only player in history to have for his career more steals than turnovers and more blocks than fouls, the defense was so good around the 90's and 2000's that teams could only score 90 points per game while in today's NBA even bad teams can score 150 points in one game. In today's NBA with no hand checking taking a three is easier than ever and now everyone shoots threes, that gives tons of spacing and that scoring inside also easier, the main reason of why today's NBA is one of the weakest defense ever is because the rules are soft, you can't play defense cause they will call you a foul, and with everything being a foul players just don't want to play defense, the 90's rules made the players want to play hard defense but now In today's rules make you don't wanna play D, you got players like holiday who is one of the best defenders but he is a wasted potential cause he isn't allowed to play defense.

Used to be that way a few years ago. Anymore Jokic has answered for everything. He can score at will and knows it now also. His first MVP season and before he was playing to set others up but wasn't always looking to score. The last 2 seasons he's realized how easily he can score. Now when you overplay his teammates but don't double him he's content to get 40. Eventually you gotta stop him and his teammates are open again.

Joel is not better scorer. He just shoots way more and got silly FTs again and again. If Jokic had a same privilege with refs as Giannis and Embiid, he would average 40 points triple double. But he got beat up every game yet only shoots like 5 FTs on averages.
