How strong is Nilou truly? In this video, I am gonna dive into that question and also share my nitpicks with you. Is she F2P-friendly? Is she easy to learn, hard to master? Is she a top-tier unit? Does she potentially grow massively at higher investments? How about her enabling of Bloom Bountiful Cores? Nilou is probably the most f2p friendly character in terms of resources, artifacts, and teammates. Give her a lv1 dull blade, 1/1/1 talents, stack as much hp as possible, then team up with Dendro MC, Collei, and Barbara who are all free units.

She is going to be part of my first proper 4 character team for this reason (up till now I've been duoing Sunfire Jean and Bennet, because I can't find any better team combos) and she is guaranteed soon so I probably will get her in time! I got a bunch of leveling though because I've mostly ignored those characters :|

@@thebetterelitenerd Xingqiu yes but Yelan still dish more damage. For Furina not really the same use case, slow hydro app is really bad for vape where Yelan/XQ excels.

For my story on why I got nilou, I actually got her weapon on her 1st release for my kuki because kuki was one of my favorite 4* units and it was pre-nahida so hyperbloom wasn’t really discovered yet. My main team was raiden, yelan, xingqui, and kuki and I just wanted more HP for kuki and she also scaled a little off EM. Upon her rerun, decided to pick nilou up since I had her weapon and did not regret that decision at all. Looking forward to the skin next patch!

Key is actually pretty good with kuki even on hyperbloom teams... The additional em by the passive will offset the lack of it..

As someone who already has Nilou, I can’t wait to pull on her weapon banner because not only do I want her weapon, I also want Navia’s weapon as well. Plus, I am also looking to get 5 copies of Xiphos’ Moon Sword for my Kazuha. Over all, I am very excited for phase 1 of 4.8.

I got the key by "losing" the 50/50 trying to get Nahida's weapon... Wasn't long before i discovered it was actually the better pull. Now it's my most swapped weapon - Kuki, Layla, and Kirara all take turns with it.

I lost the 50/50 on furina and don't have enough to hit pity again. I always thought Nilou was adorable, but didn't know she was so easy to invest. I just happen to have the Dockman's assistant at R5 (Lyney's weapon banner) and I'm in desperate need of a hydro character. You know what screw Furina, I'm bouta become a Nilou main!!!

I just got her a week ago. Built her up 75k hp and 150er and with nahida, koko, and collei. That team produces cores that hit 38k each.

Im so glad that 4.8 has two BUSTED Hydro characters. I'll try to get Nilou first, but im at a 50/50 and wont be able to guarantee her. But if i lose, i can save to get my Yelan with that Guarentee! My team would benefit from either of those characters, so its literally a win no matter what happens! Best case scenario, i get both, which i can run on the SAME TEAM!

Imagine disregarding talent levels and crit completely, just slapping hp on her with a dull blade, a bunch of EM on a hydro, a bunch of ER on other dendros, and doing 35k-30k like it's nothing? Cheapest and most easy to play team, u don't even care about proper rotation just spam random bullshit and ur good, literally perfect team

Nilou teams are crazy, crazy strong and easy to build. I never had a problem getting 36 stars in Abyss with my Nilou teams. Some don't like her because she is niche but for me that was a positive.

Will be pulling for Nilou in just a couple days! As a f2p who's played for almost a year, I already have Kokomi C0 and Nahida C2 (favourite character). Fill it out with Yaoyao (built) or the upcoming free Kirara and I'm hoping to go boom boom on my foes. RNG refused to give me a Kuki, and I won't pull for Raiden (for plot reasons - she's only loyal to Inazuma) so I never had a bloom team so far and just used Nahida in Keqing aggrevate. Which is lovely and all but lacking in explosions. If I somehow have the luck/primos, should I aim for Key or Nilou C1/C2? The other banner character is Navia and her Verdict. I'm never getting Navia, and will only be building Noele eventually - seems like Verdict is a so-so statstick on Noelle. I'd be glad to hear your thoughts.

Nilou was a character I wasn't too interested in but I'm glad I pulled her. She's a cheap date, simple to build and play. And the results are so strong in AoE. I've been told that Kaveh isn't good at all but he drives my team just fine (he's at c6). Should I be using someone else?

she's super impressive for what she was built for, absolutely! & i enjoy her nonsensical rotations. the reason why kaveh isn't good is because his abilities kind of work against bloom; he makes it so that he limits the amount of bloom cores that can be on-field at one time as opposed to using any other driver, thus making the team do worse damage, so i recommend any other driver :) kokomi, barbara, candace-infused yaoyao, baizhu even, yelan even, ayato, you get the gist; thanks for watching man!!!

480 is more than enough if we assume each 5* is around 70 pulls 140 pulls for character if we assume you lose both 50/50s then weapons 210 so 350 wishes worst case if you get a 5* every 80 pulls then 160 for nilou worst case 240 for weapons worst case so exactly 400 pulls so even if you have to go literally to max 90 pity worst luck ever, you would get your weapon & character

As a Nilou enjoyer, there's two major things that you want to consider for Nilou team comps at least in abyss: (1) ST vs AOE and (2) comfort vs damage. (1) It's already mentioned but to be clear if you want to lean towards ST, use triple hydro with XQ and/or Yelan and dendro (Nahida/Baizhu) as a driver. (2) Comfort leans toward survivability/ease-of-use over squeezing more dps. For example, the best AOE Nilou comp is Kok-Nahida-Collei(C6) but you can swap Collei to traveler (less clunky and larger AOE) or Yaoyao/Baizhu (more heals). Note that Nilou's HP cap is actually 74,444. Also another tip 1 dendro app = 2 hydro therefore it's easier to generate more cores with a hydro driver.

for me, I wanted Nilou, because her design is beautiful, but for the longest time I didn't fully understand her kit and abilities and I find her personality a bit generic, so I never pulled. I got her on my side account with Alhaitham and Kokomi though and I really love how that team plays. Gonna try to grab her this time around!

I run C2Furina-C1Yelan-C2Baizhu-C0Nilou. I use Nilou on-field with the Key/Marechaussee Hunter set, but I eventually plan on using Splendor/Golden Troupe for more skill attack damage. I will absolutely wallet for Nilou's C2 if it comes down to it for the Hydro/Dendro res shred. It's good single target with a lot of passive AOE and is really fun to play.

I think a sustainable healer is more preferable. Bursting bountiful cores can kill your characters

imo i really like that theres only so much that you can invest into her teams artifacts wise since i have a lot of teammate options for her, so as long as i give her some artifacts that i already have she should be able to clear the aoe sides of the abyss with ease and allow me to focus more on my arlecchino/navia's artifacts :3

I’m running Nilou, Furina, Nahida, and Kaveh. Nilou and Furina being hydro applicators for Kaveh and Kaveh heals off bloom damage so you don’t really need a healer even though Furina is a healer. I’m still trying to get Kaveh C4 to increase bloom dmg, assuming it works along with Nilou’s bountiful cores.

Also, Nilou is the most Imaginarium Theater friendly character out there. "But wait, isn't she restricted to bloom?" Dude, the girl has a consistent hydro application that is on par with Barbara, and people can do WONDERS with hydro application. As proof, Scuff Hu Tao teams with Nilou exists.

I got nilou on her first banner, and luckily got her weapon too. Her teams are one of my favorite, she is the best AOE damage dealer imo. Ever since I got her ive been getting other characters that work well with her like C2 nahida (I got a copy of her for every rerun and I won my 50/50 each time). Baizhu I also collected and he supports well. I love Nilou so much

I'm just scared to pull for characters at this point. I've had Neuvillette for a year now. I still haven't been able to farm up the artifact he needs. I've spend hours and all the fragile resin I could. I raised my world level hoping that would make the rng be a bit more favourable. I'm still farming. I'm feeling like pulling for the weapon might be the only option.

Fun fact... while trying to get Xiphos Moonlight... I ended up reaching pity for Key before getting a single Xiphos... After burning all my primos and getting Key... I switched to Nilou's banner... just to loose the 50/50... now... after waiting over an year... Key can finally have her master... I've been saving for 5 months for her. hopefully i can win the 50/50 this time and have some leftovers for Natlan.

Can Nilou do decent damage with vape at C0? I know her c6 makes her into a full DPS but I'll do anything it takes to make her into a DPS, even at C0.

No, If you make the Mona combo with her, you got about 200k with her burst and nothing for the rest. But this is a test made on her release, maybe now she's a little viable at C0 with Furina.

@@Account-gh6bt this trully isn't the playstyle they intended for her, if you want to make her into a hypercarry or something like that, you should go all the way through her C6. I tested a vape team with Furina now (XL, Furina, Nilou, Bennet) with her using my Neuvillette artifacts (as they scale on hp, so the artifacts would be the same), and she only do 20 to 30k vapes, sometimes 70k but really rare. Note that my Furina is C2 so this team was being hard carried by her and XL vapes.

Skipping or maybe will get Navia for Geo season in Imaginarium Theater (if it ever happens good lord please no) + I want to collect all of Fontaine's characters But I'd rather finish up my Furina to C2 rn tbh (She is currently C1R1) so I am most likely not getting any of them and just wait for the Pyro Archon or other reruns (like Kazuha or Neuvi)

She does good in single target and is INSANE in AoE. You can basically make a viable f2p Nilou team ALREADY with the characters ready for you, no need to gacha. Nilou Barbara Dmc Collei is already a good team itself! (Collei is extremely underrated) The only rng part you have to face against when building Nilou are artifacts mainstats and the amount of material drops. (Collei is really underrated, I can talk for a few mins why but this is about Nilou)

I got her with her first banner when i promised myself to save for Scara since i was also lost my 50/50 with Tighnari. I promised myself that I'll get her on her rerun. Then i played her trail and saw her animations and kept pressing buttons and she appeared... Afterwards i accidently offed my friend's dendro lumine when we messed around because lumine got boomed by a bountiful core....oops

Getting nilou for my kaveh team. I’ve been trying to find ways to able to use kaveh without nilou team thats is to get the c6 of kaveh. But sadly he hasn’t rerun for decades(me think). And I currently on my guranteed after I accidently pulled on sigwinme banner. Amd knowing nilou banner is coming right away so Why wouldn’t get those chances. I think its fate for me to get nilou(lol idontthinkso)

I spent my energy on C2 R3 Sigewinne running tenacity 65k hp, I’m now saving primos to get Zohngli, he‘s easy to build too. Btw I‘m obsessed with burgeon Nahida, Dehya, Sigewinne and Ayato, amazing aoe damage too!

12:30 I looooove the video, but here is the one place where i disagree with you and it actually covers her main flaw you talked about with single target. Furina is AMAZING in Nilou teams, WHEN Nilou is the driver. Now, granted you wanted to have c2 Nilou to make this work super well, but even without it, Furina + Nilou's hydro damage, + dendro damage from the blooms make up some almost hyperbloom level ST. If you have c2 Nilou, its straight up better then hyperbloom. Anyway amazing video.

i got R4 Xiphos in Key banner (Xiphos first banner). and as bonus also got R4 Key within 220 pull. then when Xiphos rerun again i got the R5. when Key rerun again not long after, i also got the R5 Key just for giggles 😂 needless to say, my Nilou is very happy using the R5 Key

I kinda want Nilou, but what is holding me back is that I feel like she's one of those characters who *really* wants her and I don't know if I'll have enough pulls for both her and her weapon I guess I'll go for Navia's weapon instead

she's good without sig, but she gets a massive upgrade with, think about neuvi C0R0 VS neuvi C0R1 (she isn't as strong as neuvi, i'm comparing how they both have similar attitudes towards their signature) however, key is only getting better & better over time so if you lose verdict to it, don't be sad. my advice is pull on weapons, & if you lose to key, then pull for nilou

I really wanted Nilou for some time now because I have the characters needed for her team and all of 4.8 banners are so good. I'm really contemplating if I should pull C2 Navia or not.
