no, like they said it's mostly speculation, and as no one has even attempted to rob it before who's to say there isn't an explosive charge rigged as soon as the vault door opens unless you manually disable it from maybe a different state

I remember several years ago watching something on the History Channel about Fort Knox, and the people said that it was the only time it would be aired, and it spoke about tons of features the vault, including how the room where the door is was designed to flood in order to drown people attempting to break in. It showed the inside with what looked like jail cells filled with gold bars, and other 3D models of rooms inside the building.

You can break in by knowing people in the construction industry that can get you powerful tools and you can tunnel to the base. Maybe even tunnel directly to the vault and use the tunnel as an escape as well with the gold
