I feel badly for her because I think people forget that her family was her normal. Seeing them do all of those things to their faces and bodies was the norm. If she had a family that embraced their flaws and told her how she was beautiful naturally I doubt she’d feel the need to do that.

Or maybe it’s laughable since she’s entitled, white and rich and is a known bully who for years was on the internet bullying Blac Chyna. Selena Gomez, Megan Thee Stallion etc.. so bye nobody feel sorry for her when her brand for years consisted of her bullying other women and being known as a mean girl so it’s weird when someone is now looking terrible in the face and crying for sympathy and think everyone’s supposed to cry with them.

100%. The Kardashians did not ask to be the beauty standard society put them there. Nobody had to follow the KJ lip challenge or get bbl’s to look like Kim but they did. Kylie was bullied by grown adults as a child about her appearance when she was just a teenager and then people wondered why she changed her appearance and didn’t want to be completely upfront about it. This all stems from jealousy that people don’t have the ability to change what they don’t like about themselves in the same way wealthy people can. It’s insane

And yeah I get it she was bullied for her looks as a child, but she should have let her facial features grow in before she had surgery at such a young age and her parents are to blame for that because why would they let her damage herself like that. Now her face is facing the consequences of whatever plastic surgery she done to her face.

I don’t think you understand the severity of the bullying, literal news publications, people online and to her face were trashing her appearance since she was a 9-10 year old child until now at nearly 27. If nobody talked about her appearance, Kris included, I don’t think she would have felt pressured to change as much as she did.

For anyone confused about why she still continues to read comments that are so negative, this is what insecure people do. It’s the equivalent to people who feel bad about their weight, for example, so they scroll through IG pictures of thin people and compare themselves to them. Instead of just putting the phone down. It’s psychological self h@rm that they’re doing. And people do get addicted to physical SH. Thats why people like her are addicted to harming themselves mentally instead of doing things to help prevent themselves from further damage.

I think any little girl who is constantly told she is ugly by grown adults and her peers will have low self esteem. Now put that on a global scale. Severe body dysmorphia. It’s no surprise she went through all of this. Shame on her parents and the people who bullied her. The reason no one feels bad is bc they’ll have to admit the world destroyed a child and now she is a broken adult.

I personally disagree, you can win as a parent if you affirm what they were born as from the very beginning. Setting principles and values that will make them into an upstanding citizen but much more a better version of yourself. And if after all that they’re grown enough to make such a life changing decision you don’t have to support them but let them know that they’re always going to have a mother or a father to go back to and that they’re always welcome in your home. What’s more important is your children having a community to go back to and that community wanting the best for them and not doing things for the sake of their children’s desires or the notions being imposed be media whether it’s transitioning or any form of life changing surgeries and injections.

Agreed, the Kardashians grew up during the worst era of beauty standards and their (original) natural appearances have been disparaged by society (media, peers, and parents) long before plastic surgery became more accessible. They’re famous due to their beauty, somewhat entertaining personalities, and excellent marketing yet because everyone is so fixated on their appearances and “lack of talent,” they’ve begun to attach their self-worth and income around visual beauty and vanity. They’re told their only valuable if they’re pretty, their appearances are being criticized by millions of people everyday, they feel pressured to change or “improve” their appearance through plastic surgery/impossible diets/unhealthy gym workouts, and then get comments about how “they never should have changed,” “they were more beautiful before,” or “Kim’s too obsessed about looking older” as if the world hasn’t been nitpicking their appearances over the last 20 years. This topic, the Kanye situation, and Taylor Swift bs are the few things I’ll ever defend the KarJenners for.

The main reason people don't feel sorry for her is mainly due to jealously. It's always "She has money, she'll be fine," or "She shouldn't have been desperate to become famous," or "She upholds this unrealistic beauty standard so she'll have to deal with it." People just don't want to face the fact that they bullied her and caused her to be insecure, so they just use anyone of the excuses upbove to defend/deflect from themselves. Also Dee, you need to understand that being this famous, comments, rumours, etc, will just follow you. For example, you may want to see a picture of yourself from an event. You check the comments for maybe constructive feedback on the picture but in the comments people are just bullying/trolling you. So it's not something you can just not see. I highly doubt they'll go looking for these negative comments. Also, believe most people who are trolling on Beyoncé, Kylie Jenner, Nicki Minaj, are not children.

As a trans person I would nevaaa get bottom surgery I’m mtf and I kinda find it weird why people blame transness and don’t look at the parents because regardless of what people say about you for it that’s you’re child and allowing them to get any kind of cosmetic surgery is wrong now letting the do hormone blockers and socially transition is fine because it’s not permanent and to a certain extent hormone therapy can be reversed but surgery??? 😭

Regarding the regretting transitioning thing. For all the situations where that happens, there's also the other side where people DON'T regret it, but those voices don't get amplified as much because people love to focus on the former to push the agenda that transitioning is wrong. Also the reason some trans men get phalloplasty is not for the size of a penis, but to help soothe the body dysmorphia of having lower genitals they don't feel are right for their body. It also isn't something "a lot" of trans men get just because of the expense and risks associated with it.

Was gonna say this! The statistics is that most people with body dysmorphia don’t regret transitioning.. something in the 80-90%. Anecdotal evidence is valid in some cases but not this one. There’s so much counseling that goes into all these things. I just think of all the kids that didn’t make it to their older years from suicide and homicide

its hard to feel bad for these celebrities whose entire image and product is about looks, if that's your product then that's what's gonna be critiqued by the public. but kylie is likely a victim of the same terrible beauty standards she has perpetuated. i can't imagine there was much emphasis in her upbringing on learning to love yourself as you are and appreciating what you were born with. this the kinda shit your parents are supposed to teach you instead of placing all your self worth on how you look

Someone asked me how I got my lips to look like that too, and I was so thrown back about that question because it's natural. Incoming Rant: Yes, to a certain degree, it's the parent's fault for allowing it when she was young. But celebrity aside, there are some young kids out there, whose parents tell them that there are beautiful/handsome on a regular; then they'll go to school and have 1 kid call them ugly, and it's the end of the world. If some of those kids had the funds for it, I have a feeling that they'd go behind their parents back and "work" on it. The doctors that are performing these surgeries should be held accountable for their unethical practices. How the fuck did a 16 year get a butt injection. Fine/jail those doctors.

I will say I do think the thing he looks past is that she was also raised in an environment whether she perpetuated The Stereotype or not she would have always getting compared to what was perceived and what is perceived to be the prettier siblings. Because she was raised in a family that basically represented beauty standards. So no matter what she would have just went through her whole life getting this hey. Well also at the same time I definitely agree as a family they should have tried mentally and emotionally can supporting her enough for her to hopefully become more confident and be okay with it and live to move past it. But we also know that family likes being in the Forefront the family everyone knows. Does one person say the Kardashian's is like a national royal family. In the way of how we know a lot about their lives their constantly followed they are looked to set standards they treat themselves as they are the standards. If anything I think the best course that they could have gone for who is Kylie if she didn't get surgery is by making her come off as more independent person and have her carve out her own identity outside of the family and the Jenner name

Kylie is the youngest of the family and was 5 years old when her older sister leaked her own s*x tape, and 10 years old when the reality surrounding her family started so you can say she is somewhat a "victim". Was influenced by her family and started doing surgery by the age of 17, so her mom allowed her to do all of this earlier. Also its funny how everytime people compare pics of her when she was younger, it's mostly not flattering pics. I just wished she would've started it much later, she was still a teenager and was not done evolving etc...

The crazy thing is...people bullied her so much then when she got surgery and started doing lip kits everybody loved it like it wasnt a problem...now all of a sudden people dont know why she felt inclined to change her looks? It's crazy. They wouldve continued to call her the uglier sister even if she had waited. I think she's reflecting and regretting which shows growth and realizing the shit might have not been worth it And then people downplaying her feelings because she's rich? People are out of touch with being a human

She's famous and interacting with all these different facets of media is implied whether she wants the attention or not. I don't see how she could possible avoid the critiques about her doctored appearance at this point.

As a mother, you can't win. So you don't try to win. You try to support your kids emotionally. There's no way in hell that I would've allowed my kids to get a major surgery like this. You're brain doesn't stop growing until about age 27. You cannot make this kind of decision foe yourself at such a young age. For anyone who wants to transition and I mean ANYONE, therapy should be a REQUIREMENT. Its not to change your mind. Its to address what's going on in the present so you can be prepared for the future. And that's what's missing imo. The emotional part of making such a huge change. I feel for this child because their parents should NEVER have allowed this.

It comes to the critique on doctors I don't really feel that situations like getting surgeries and all this other stuff really falls on them because most of the time what people need is fucking therapy or a counselor that's why I like I know a lot of trans people and lgbtq groups tell people to go through the process and not kind of rush it go seek therapy see if it's what you truly want. Cuz once you go to the doctor more likely than not you're probably going to make every argument on why you need it and it's not on them to say no unless a it's illegal B they literally cannot give it to you or see you will die from it all that equates to it being illegal they're not there to be your therapist your counselor or mental health advisor. Because at the end of the day it is a job that's what makes good doctors good is that they do take extra steps to do things but oftentimes like I said by the time you get to that point where you want to transition you think it's the only option. Because it's the flaw with all doctors cuz if you go to a doctor saying you feel all well you feel this you feel that they can say you're completely good but if you keep on telling them you don't feel that way they're going to have to look into it

So the fact that people are blaming her and her family for so called “changing the beauty standards” is crazy.
