Baizhu's defensive utility is Kirara and Yaoyao combined in one slot. Which makes it not much until you realize it only takes one slot.

You forgot to mention that the dendro attacks from his shield can keep applying dendro to waves after waves of enemies when they die immediately after spawning. Nahida has this 1 very big flaw is that she needs to keep using her E to apply dendro to enemies manually for such domain fights.

Defensive units are always underestimated and criticized when they release : zhongli (before its buff), kokomi (can't crit) and now baizhu. let's hope furina can fix this. if sigewin is a 5 star (healer) and she don't be criticize : it will be an huge improvment

Though people call him a five star Yao Yao people severely underestimate the fact that he is a dendro unit that provides healing, stager resistance, dendro reaction buffs with his passive talent, and off field dendro application that doesn’t overwhelm co exsisting elements, and that he can use thrilling tales of dragon slayers.

i was extremely MEH when i pulled baizhu. I kept passing up kokomi, so i figured i should grab a 5star healer and went with baizhu. The more i used him, the more i really loved having him on my account. he's ultimate comfort pick with good dendro app.

Baizhu is one of the best, if not the best healer in the game. My C0 Baizhu heals 10k+ for each team member through Skill. Note he can heal an ENTIRE team via Skill. No other character can do team-wide healing via Skill. And he can be off-field. And he buffs Dendro reactions too. With Furina’s arrival, Baizhu’s easy team-wide healing via Skill will be even more useful. I never regretted getting him.

I love Baizhu sm, this man makes all content feel so comfortable whenever I play him, especially in exploration.

Crazy how much genshin characters get underrated and age so well.

I was pulling for Kaveh constellations and wound up with c2 Baizhu. He's great. I dont see why he gets as much hate as he does. He provides portable off field dendro application + healing and a reaction buff. Given that he belongs to arguably the best element in the game, his flexability knows no bounds.

Something I think people underrate about Baizhu is that since he overheals most of the time, you can build him with ER. Ofc you need the deepwood set most of the time (or instructor for aggravate teams), but you don't need to go full hp since he heals a lot anyways and his buff is okay, its not necessary. I have rarely needed his max healing since he heals so much.

I mentioned in X that i had the chance to play Baizhu for awhile during his quest and he's really a comfortable character to work with. Furthermore he heals pretty good till the point i wish HYV could include a 5th slot just so i can include him on my team. Since i've been Qiqified last night on Wriothesley's banner, i am guaranteed a 5* next so i might pull for Baizhu. Tldr: dunno why people shit on him though.

What I like about baizhu is that he is quickswap both on his burst and skill unlike yaoyao that has to be onfield for her max healing and her healing from skill is very inconsistent because the radish’s attack switches between characters and enemies depending on the characters hp meaning if your character is always very low you aren’t getting the dendro application, Baizhu doesn’t need all this theatrics, just use skill for party wide healing and use his burst when it’s up and it applies way more dendro as it is more consistent and has more uptime than yaoyao’s skills

Got Baizhu on his first ever banner for my cyno, mainly because i don't have kokomi and if i ever have her, i'll just play both on differents teams coz they're both good imo👍

Whaling for his C6R2 was so worth it like he's the love of my life, my main, and he's so solid and comfy I never take him out of my party.

Wrio, Thoma, Baizhu and flex last spot (anemo or hydro works best) for burning, burgeon, melt and it slaps. Dendro application and healing every 2.5 seconds not to mention his passive which increases dendro reactions by up to 100 percent (at 50k HP). He is super flexible and easy to use in teams that need off field and active dendro application. If anyone is tired of circle impact or Xiangling impact, Thoma + Baizhu is pretty fun! He is also great in Nilou teams as the dendro driver especially if you decide to use Xingqiu or Yelan as the second hydro (or have 3 hydro and use Baizhu as the onfield dendro driver and he is still amazing). Have fun everyone!

i think i might go between furina and baizhu, though im leaning more towards baizhu since i dont have nahida, i have a kokomi and yelan but furina's kit is so interesting to me to the point where ill just pull for both

Back then many people said that he was bad but as time goes on, I kept seeing him more and more in dendro teams especially Hyperbloom teams.

I ignored Kokomi banner, because I predicted there will be another water walking character in Fontaine and I already got Baizhu. As a player, who always cares for they hp to be max healed, I did struggle a lot with Barbara. But with Baizhu it requires me only to tap his E and become completely sure all my characters are healed up. Even though Baizhu's shield is weak and appears only 6 times each 2.5s, this shield still can prevent interruption from hilichurl's rock to Raiden Puppet attacks. This is what Kokomi and YaoYao definately can't give your active character. Also Baizhu's dendro application is not bad, if you play against a boss. It's perfect for aggravate. What else should I add? Yes, Baizhu with healer build deals small damage. But his damage is alive team with buffed elemental reactions. His projectiles are homing, heal isn't dependent on area or mobs. He may be not the best character, but indeed he will make your gameplay easier and much more comfortable.

I got Baizhu on his release and he's on every single one of my teams lol he's so comfortable to play with, no one dies. 💚

I encountered some comment once that they had Baizhu, but only at level 20 because they thought since he is a 5-star he is gonna be expensive to build for their F2P account which is funny since healer like Baizhu especially for an HP scaling, with Max HP ascension stat, don't require much stat (HP stat is a lot easier to find), aside from ER he is amongst the most F2P friendly character to build; his artifact set is just Deepwood Memories too, very resin efficient domain. Even one of his best weapon, Prototype Amber, is free or just use the Favonius Codex. Correction: Deepwood, it's Deepwood Memories

I got biazhu when i was trying to get my broke boy kaveh. I actually won the 50 50 and got his c1 right after. His c1 makes him a MASSIVE healer. I have him on my ocean hue clam set and his damage is crazy high.

Using Sacrificial fragments on Biazhu with his c1, basically giving his E 3 charges, honestly makes him a god teir pick for a furina hyperbloom team. Most of his other cons also increase his off field dendro application and shielding. Knew he was good when I first got him, and if it wasn't for him being on Furina's Banner I'd have a lot more of his cons tbh

i did his story quest using neuvilette and my god, they're perfect for eachother. Baizhu provide everything Neuvillette need for bloom team. Shield, heal and dendro application.instead of wasting 3 slots for 3 different characters for the same things, Baizhu got it all. i can use other 2 slots for other elements or buffs that make neuvilette even stronger.

I pulled for Baizhu without a heart beat. Furina is great but when running a fontaine team with Neuvillette, Lyney and Wriothesley half of my team becomes useless.

I think I'll pull him simply because I need another Dendro support I can rely on, and I need another healer in general since Kokomi is like my one and only decent one lmao

I'll be pulling for him for my Childe + Raiden electro soup team, I know it's not the ideal line up, but him being being a healer and mobile applying tiny bit of dendro for my Childe is enough reason for me to pull

I have tested his buff vs nahida on non EM scaling units like shogun, fischl, keqing...he buffs them the same way nahida would, so having his buff in aggrevate is the same as having nahida. Besides, both buffs can co exist in teams like nilou, double hydro hyperbloom while on fielding kuki, or even Triple dendro spread teams like yae alhaitham nahida baizhu. Baizhu can also be on field, with teams that involve electro he can make use of hakushin, and be the tank to any danger sometimes. The way he got underrated is harsh, but what amuses me is how doubters keep tilting their heads once they see him being massively used by his havers, the man is THAT good for us, why you mad ?😂

I was pulling for kaveh when I got him and i have never once regretted having him. He is so good.

Been playing about a year and just missed his first release but got him on his rerun. Getting him was the first time I ever beat Floor 12 Abyss. I used Sacrifical weapon on him, 4pc deepwood, and ran him DPS, Yelan, Water Boy, and Kuki. The team had so much protection and healing that they barely had to dodge and never died. And the hyperbloom was super fast and my first team to have 100% uptime on skills/bursts as I switched. Other than Tighnari, Baizhu is still my favorite to play!!

You nailed the issue here. Bhaizu is an amazing unit I still don’t own, because I wanted to pull Nilou at that time and I also pulled seele on hsr, so I didn’t have the funds to pull for him, and now they’re pairing him up with Furina. So I’m probably going to skip him again, unfortunately. And im sure a lot of people are in my same situation.

Was finally able to do the 12th floor after getting him, without anyone dying or even losing a significant amount of HP. He's excellent healer, my team is basically immortal with him~ I'm so happy I got him.

I got Nahida on her rerun and I got Baizhu on his first banner bc I needed both, one for my hyperbloom and the other one for my Keqing Aggravate team. Both teams serves me well to this day and I'm trying to find other uses for my Baizhu.

You were right back then, I wanted him since the beginning, pulled but didn't get him, I didn't mind as much since I already had Zhongli C1 and Yao Yao C4-6 then went for Nahida. Now with enough primos got Furina(Festering Desire) and him (Deepwood set hp-ER+200%+Prototype R5) , I'm building them right now to go with Al Haitham and Miko, yes I have Nahida but I can use her in another team. What it really surprise me is that Baizhu is amazing due his healing+no interruption, dendro shred+ and is mostly the best healer to make Furina top stack more than any other healer/support, they will be more likely glue forever.

Guys I have neuvillete i have xingqiu, and i dont have a good healer ? Only bennet . Should i go For baizhu or Furina , i love them both and i am confused

Typing this before watching the video, seems like a lot of ppl feel the same way i do . I pulled for him when he came out and i built and just benched him , i had alhaithem but no nahida and didn't really know what to do with baizhu or even searched for that information , fast forward and now i appreciate him a lot more , he's so comfortable , in open world and in abyss , i can just use him with double hydro or xq/yelan + fichl and slot kuki or thoma in the last spot depending on aoe or single target , you just spam normal attacks and can't die lol

can someone help!! im so torn, do i wait for nahida rerun (early 2024-ish??) or pull for baizhu now. i have kokomi, but i also have yelan as a really strong hyrdro support so i could use either with him- but also nahida is just so good??

Look I love baizhu and I got him since his release, but I have to say I barely notice the difference when im using him and yaoyao. The only time I do realize is when I'm using him in nilou and then hes just doing yaoyaos job but more comfy and adding a little more bloom damage. He is a luxury unit, there is nothing he can do that yaoyao cant. I know that he will be good for furina, but even then outside of bloom teams charlotte and jean will do his job equally as good. Sure their burst healing is on a longer cd but it is still enough to maintain furinas drain if you keep bursting every rotation, which is easy for them to do.

I had to do a Dehya Spiral 12 clear challenge from a bet I made with a friend and if it wasn't for Baizhu's shielding and healing i never would've cleared it with 5 secs left.

I got him on accident trying to unlock kaveh, got an early mona on the first 10 pull and figured I was safe. second 10 pull had baizhu in it. he’s basically completely replaced yao yao for me. he has a permanent spot in almost every dendro team I use. and no, I didn’t get the kaveh and I still haven’t gotten him.

Baizhu's shield can last for like 1 hit and yeah it reapplies itself but when facing multiple opponents and it constantly being broken that inturruption resistence isnt going to get you far unless your dodging and pretending you dont have a shield at all. I am not saying hes bad but like cmon that shield despite scaling off his large health is hardly protecting anything for less than a second

I also want to mention that ive found him even more useful than Kokomi for exploring especially,hes perfect in a Kazuha and Yelan team.He even heals more than Kokomi and is easier to use.Kokomi is of course as perky as ever and i have them both but i use him more while exploring while im so happy to have them both for the abyss. Both are excellent healers and now you need good ones.

Used my guarantee on a hard pity to get him. Not a simp but I know he brings a lot of QoL to my account. Definitely not a must pull but having a off-field dendro healer is massive consideration.

Got Baizhu on first multi and i was so disappointed because it was my guarantee i was saving for Yae Miko. While i got (un)lucky again with Ganyu at 33 pity (ofc i lost the 50/50 on Yae Miko later on) i'd say i refret only Ganyu of the 2 of them, cause now Baizhu is hard carrying my Alhaitham team (i somehow managed to not get Nahida i know)

Bhaizhu is great he was the first dendro charactar we saw and yeah he was one of the charactar i waited for the most and I got him on his first banner and with his help floor 12 is easy haha

i want baizhu but i was saving for furina (and still am)! i like to play comfortably so having a kirara yaoyao fusion would be so good. But with my absolute horrendous luck i don’t wanna throw away my primos without preparation and alrecchino is also getting closer to be released

I obtained Baizhu on his 4.6 banner, and he's far more valuable than I imagined. All I can say is that I feel like I have my own Statue of the Seven with me wherever I go. A large quantity of healing for everyone on a team is a game changer. And it is incredibly flexible with a strong passive dendro reaction. Baizhu is extremely underrated. Worth pulling, no regret at all.

i dont have yaoyao or kirara do i get baizhu for my keqing aggravate team?

I like Baizhu. He fits in so many dendro reaction teams. I actually want another tall dendro support for my other team. I don't really want Nahida.

So funny people don't understand that he's literally the strongest option for yae fischl aggravate and other aggravate and spread teams. His dendro allows you to swirl electro unlike nahida and he allows you to forgo a hydro healer and run an anemo buffer instead

Shooting for Baizhu is the best decision of my life, his visually simple attacks hitting with Chi, his extreme comfort and his performance in hyperbloom is wonderful. I hope to get Furina and Nilou's C2 out soon to have Ayato Bloom.

i would have gotten biazhu on the banner but i was short on cash during his run, so have to wait for the return XD my partner however did get baizhu and he uses him a lot, co-op for us at current is neuvillette, zhongli/dluic (me), baizhu, ayaka/wriothesley(him) so its either freeze/bloom or bloom/burgeon/freeze, we do occasionally pul out the super bloom team neuvillette, nahida (me), baizhu, neliou (him)

He’s great, honestly, such a balanced character, and with constellations he can even be built as a driver, dps monster while still having more than enough healing for the team. I know constellations aren’t ever needed, but even without he’s a great driver and healer.

C6'd Baizhu, so my opinion may be irrelevant here. THE BEST HEALER in the game atm w/ dendro application. Completely used *off field* unless I want the extra EM from his burst. And he heals completely underwater in Fontaine without the need for those healing fish. No regrets except for my wallet being on fire. Also, his weapon kind of mitigates the necessity for ER since it regens energy very quickly after burst. I guess it can be used for that if nothing else-- Still not worth the pull just for that, though.

I’m considering pulling Baizhu as a general dendro applier for multiple teams (new player don’t have Nahida and no idea when she will show up), but I also think he will be a decent vertical investment for my RizzleDazzle. I know he isn’t as strong as Neuv and some others, but the boxing play style is just 100% my jam so I’m getting him all the goodies, and Baizhu should be nice for burnmelt, fridge and hyperfeidge (also for the memes I want a “super spread” with Wrio, Baizhu, Fischl and Beidou). Will have to see how many teams Furina can create for Wrio, but my assumption is she will only be good for freeze and hyperfeidge, which might do more damage but aren’t as versatile/fun/varied as a dendro addition to Wrio teams (I also already have Yelan and Xingqiu for good hydro options for him)

I use Yaoyao on a Keqing/Fischl agg team and I find her dendro application to be al not the best...I can still 3* the floor but sometimes barley when it isnt single target....I am wondering if I should pull Baizhu this time around more then ever

Baizhu has saved my ass in genshin so many times. He has a perm spot on my team as support and healer.

You got me with Baizhu giving me chocomilk. He was my first 5 (6 months old account). I feel something is missing if I don't use him.

As someone who have been looking forward to getting baizhu since day one, and have a pure healer build on their him (He is on 4p maidens beloved and he is C6 + R2 signature weapon + triple crowned) I can confidently say that he very much a "quality of life" kind of character, he is not a must pull, unless you're looking to invest into dendro teams or unless you really like him (like myself). Though if you do go for constellations of him, i recommend you stop at C2, you will not die. Basically it activates a mini version of his elemental burst when you normal attack enemies with any character in your party, this effect can be triggered once every 5 seconds. The reason why I think he is the best healer in the game is purely because he can heal party wide and not just heal the character that is on field, just by using his Elemental skill. I love that I'm not dependent on his burst to heal my team (though i don't even use his burst, which is because of his C2), unlike with Kokomi and and Yaoyao who can only heal active characters with their Elemental skill, and who need their burst to heal the whole team (plus they must be on field to heal the whole team) In conclusion, as a Baizhu main, I don't regret spending $135 on my baizhu. When I saw the leaked Baizhu kit and his animations, i was disappointed, cause they looked boring. Aside from that, I love him so much❤🙏 Note: My baizhu has 49k HP and can heal 14k - 16k, and on a good day he will heal 18k :)

I used my guarantee to get baizhu and I'm immediately so glad I did, I mainly got him because I really want Nilou, but I don't want Nahida, so I saw him as an investment for my future nilou teams. But aside from him being a much more comfortable healer than ones I've been using, I've been pairing him with kuki and yelan/xingqiu, and it's been so fun to use him as a hyberbloom driver and just watch everything get deleted. I'm finding him so great, I almost feel bad I got him purely because of pulling for Nilou in the future, he's a genuinely great character and unit in his own right.

As A C6 ywo yao enjoyer. I still use yao yao after getting baizhu. So my recommendation to all who gunna pull baizhu. Simply don't pull until u like character and his design.

It was always hard for me to build baizhu after I accidentally pulled him, because I have everybody mentioned in this video, expect for cyno. If I ever need a healer in some dendro team, kokomi was always there. Maybe one day when there is a team kokomi doesnt belong in, but baizhu does, I will finally build him
