Why NOBODY Lives in these 12 EMPTY Countries

Why so few people live in the 12 Emptiest Countries despite many being among the Most Beautiful!
The reasons why NOBODY Lives in Kazakhstan, Botswana, Australia, Mongolia, Namibia, Libya, Suriname, Canada, Iceland, and other regions of the World that are more than 99% COMPLETELY empty, like Greenland differ by nation. Some are uninhabited due to cold and snowy weather, extreme heat and desert climates, isolation, lack of water, harsh terrain not suitable for farming or real estate, war and geopolitical factors, cultural reasons like generations of nomadic lifestyles, and no jobs or industry for large cities to grow!
While all of these places have low population densities, with many towns being abandoned, a few actually have MASSIVE cities, such as Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia or Sydney, Australia. So why do these 12 empty countries COMBINED have a smaller population than Egypt or Japan?
➽ Join our OFFICIAL Discord Server!: / discord
And if you're tired of the US and want to get away from it all, or are trying to homestead or buy cheap, empty land in a part of the world that has the fewest number of people over a large area, with little civilizations and roads, my biggest suggestion is to visit these cities, towns and countries first to decide where you want to move to and live!

*Can we hit 5,000 Likes for a video on the EMPTIEST regions of the World?* Happy Halloween everyone! This is the LARGEST project we've ever undergone on this channel, so I really hope you all enjoy! It was fascinating researching how life can be so different in different countries around the world, and I'd love to create more videos like it if you're interested! *And which of the countries in this video do you think is the Best to live in? The Worst?*

I used to live in eastern Belarus, Mogilev city. But I moved to Southwest Kazakhstan, the city of Aktau. I don't regret anything. Also you forgot to mention Balkhash Lake, Caspian Sea and 48,262 lakes with only 12,400 big enough to be considered a lake. Hottest and lowest temperatures recorded are +49 degrees in Celcius and -57 degrees in Celcius, respectively. Nice video, wish you the best!

I visited it this year and have seen a good bit of that scenery first-hand and it really is stunning. One of my favourite countries in the world I've visited. Food is 10/10. You can find practically every variety of Asian food in big cities like Almaty. Not to mention the quality of the meat. Being heavy meat eaters it is extremely good quality. I can definitely recommend. A lot of Europeans dream about visiting Japan. I know I would love to visit it one day as well. But Kazakhstan is significantly cheaper to fly to and a much more original destination. I will definitely be going back, for longer though since I didn't venture far from Almaty.

The problem is UB /Ulanbaatar with its snail traffic, mongol govt must build a series of small cities outside the valley in which UB is located. Because of location , smoke generated in UB cannot escape causing pollution especially in winter. Outside UB the nation is a giant playground with mind blowing open space and breathtaking landscapes . BTW I have visited Olgii in western Mongolia , fell in love with the landscape and will try to visit again hopefully.

I think you forgot to mention New Zealand. There’s literally no one there in many parts of the country. Can’t remember amount of times outside capital cities and regional parks there was no one to talk to for hours. You have to live in a big town or city but even then it’s so quiet. Same for outback Australia except the fact there is dead hot heat, lots of mozzies and creepy crawlies and in fact many Aboriginal towns you need a license to enter and still take you days without seeing a single person or car. Permits to these very remote Aboriginal towns can be hard to gain access. But if it’s like Alice Springs no problem but a huge issue of racism and youth in detention.

Lots of reasons to visit Canada. 😊 Our scenery is breathtaking, no matter what part of the country you are in. As for the cold, I live in northern Manitoba where the temperature can go to -40° in mid winter to +35° in mid summer. You just have to dress for the weather. The lakes here are plentiful and clean, great beaches for sunning and swimming, the fishing is great all year round (from boat or ice shack) and the camp grounds range from full facilities to roughing it in the wild. The wildlife is awesome…bears, wolves, coyotes, moose and lots of smaller stuff.

Canada isn’t “empty”, we just aren’t overpopulated….yet. That strip along the southern border is getting overpopulated in some areas.
