For the newest AVAULT Why Nobody Plays series, we are going to talk about the Mamemon Deck! The Mamemon Deck BT11 and Mamemon Deck BT13 seems to be barely played even with the new Princemamemon BT13 being released. I attempted to make my own Mamemon Deck Profile and there isn't much creativity that can be applied to make it work. Digimon Mamemon Deck has a decent concept but struggles to be good. The Digimon TCG Mamemon Deck tries to play the Digimon for free without having to pay memory. The Princemamemon Deck does the same and Princemamemon gives reboot and jamming as well which helps the Banchomamemon deck.

I think Mamemon has a lot of potential just because of how much support COULD be coming. Aside from Tonosamamamemon (my favorite of the megas) you also have all of the X-antibody forms. The real drawback is there's no other tamer, aside from Analog Youth from what I recall, that canonically has Mamemon. I hope they give it more support as the swarming playstyle is why I picked up decks like D-Brigade. Here's hoping the little bean can get a huge wave of support soon.

I think having Mameo from Next Order as the main black tamer of the deck along with a searcher purple Elecmon lvl 3 and another Thundermon (with an effect/inherit) alongside the X-antibody Mamemons and TonosamaMamemon could give it a major bump depending on card effects etc etc.

Have a mamemon deck that doesn’t fail to make everyone laugh, no rookie and a single egg tends to get everyone confused

Another insightful video. I personally think that if this archetype get's the numemon,sukkamon, etemon treatment in support it will be a solid 1.5 deck

I would love to hear your thoughts on why nobody plays Tyrannomon. It's genuinely upsetting to me that the red dino doesn't get anywhere near as much love as the orange dino, despite having been the very first digimon. Tyrannomon deserves a chance to be god-tier.

A friend of mine has been playing Mamemon since BT8. He was running that deck undefeated in locals for the longest time. Wasn't until I came at him with my BT8 BWG deck that it finally fell

i think we Definity will be getting another banchomamemon when looking at flashy boss punch but whether it supports mamemon, banchos or both is gonna be a coinflip

I don't know competitive well, but I think a Mamemon ACE could do well for the deck as both a cheap to play card to allow you to get to level 6 without much issue, as well as working in the play cost for limit in Senbon Dokkan.

I think a huge issue with mamemon is how much it relies on level 5 swarming without having very many options to play them outside of your level 6s and a really expensive option card. Honestly more thundermon's that treat themselves as mamemons would help because they at least make the deck faster and more consistent. A thundermon that can search out other mamemon's or stack cards from trash back onto the deck would be really useful.

I have been playing Mamemon for a whole year now. It's interesting that you dont mention how Mamemon can also excel at running out of color tamers because of BT 11 Mamemons effect. That is how I have had the most success with the deck. Sadly, I do not think we will be getting Mamemon support any longer. Before Prince in BT13, it was BT 8 where we got explicit support, as BT 11 Mamemon was more for Tyranno/Jijimon. I also am taking the hint from the art of EX 5 Metaletemon holding up that Mamemon corpse. I love Mamemon and this deck, but as much as I have tried I cannot top my weekly tournaments with it. I have forever ruined some of our Royal Knights player times with Chikurimon. But Mamemon just doesn't have what it takes, and thats so depressing to me.

I mean in the other videos like the hexeblaumon one he goes into detail on what makes the deck inherently bad like relying on trashing digivolution cards and how that kills the deck. In this video he doesn not do that
