All in all don’t chase and don’t be invisible at the same time. Be a man with steel balls to initiate raise the expectations and just wait and watch. And react only as a response and not as a necessity.

Very smart. Some people in the comments are not thinking with the left and right side of their brain. Not chasing after someone doesn’t mean that you can’t be cordial, polite and overall friendly person to everyone. Just being social within reason starts granting you the ability of meeting more people, including women. Chasing after a woman for sex or a relationship, inevitably fails.
