Personally ? I LOVE the outtakes . Everybody knows that real life isn't all polished ,and perfect presentation , but normal people misspeak , foul up , and sometimes make a goofball of themselves . You've probably thought about this already, but I was thinking -- since your master will be on top of the ship, wouldn't it be nice to have the roof be a window to the sky? Then you can look up at the night sky and watch the stars while lying in bed. I bet the night sky is pitch black and not light-polluted at sea and near desolate islands, so you can see lots of stars very clearly and also the Orion-Cygnus arm in the Milky Way, stretching across the entire night sky. What a sight that'd be! 🌃

This is going to be your boat to show in detail. That means ENGINE ROOM details !!!!! You MUST show every nut and bolt detail for us mechanical geeks. Then Rico can try to tell me why it should have but will not have controllable pitch propellers.

Being an owner/operator, you had to put your own comfort for living in your own home first. I totally get it. It would make no sense to own a yacht to charter if you're not comfortable living on it, unless it's not your primary home. I think you both were smart in your choice. I'm so excited for you. I think you are going to have awesome adventures and I hope you continue to include us and take us with you.

Though my life living on the water was short lived, I cannot express how happy I am that you guys have Chosen Bering. From the first video I saw of a Bering yacht, I was astounded with the over-engineering. How wonderful you must feel knowing every aspect of your home was designed to exceed expectations. Bravo!

The outtakes PROVE you guys are old enough for a trawler! 🤣🤣🤣 The jetski annoyance is real y'all! hahahaha The 75 looks perfect and with the added volume, it sounds like you made the correct decision, not that you needed my approval though. 😉 My perfect trawler would be a 2 cabin layout, each cabin with king size beds and each with 2 ½ person showers. A comfortable galley with a full size refrigerator and freezer and enough solar/lithium house bank so it didn't require running the genset much while on the hook.

I knew immediately why you chose the 75, it’s the same thing that I would have done: Interior volume, which it has now been explained in your video is directly related to gross tonnage. Displacement is pretty self explanatory. The fly bridge accommodations is brilliant, that never crossed my mind. And yes! Keep doing the outtakes!

This was really interesting, because at first glance so many of the Bering options look similar (so many 70-85). I thought you'd go for the 77 myself, but looking at the layout and your intended useage the 75 completely makes sense. Really looking forward to the development / build !

I love the channel and you guys! At 76 I have been out of the Marine environment for 22 years. Watching your channel has brought back my youth and memories of those bygone Yachting Years. I was a Rag-Bagger Sailing Yacht Sunrise Choey Lee Cl48. I have always loved Trawlers but could not afford them, and remember the Air is Free LOL. I am into the current technology so your channel brings me up to date, I was, and am a hands-on Owner, so I love when you open every door and drawer, showing the anchor chain locker and engine room, every nook and cranny is of interest to me!!! The love aboard walks throughs have rekindled my desire to Buy a used 45 to 70 Yacht. I live in Yuma, AZ my New/Used Yacht would be in Seattle -West coast Canada, Yuma is to Hot (Hell's Kitchen). I can relate to many of your adventures as i Circumnavigated the World, both canals, up the Red Sea and turn left into Ashkelon Harbor, on to Cypress and then Turkey. I crossed my path in Antigua, sold the Boat in Ft Lauderdale and moved to Arizona. Your channel has returned me to being an Arm Chair Sailor wanting Stink Pot. I do have respect for Motor Yachts. Yes, I had/have the where-with all to understand that no part of your journey in this was going to be a simple thing. I love watching your story. I'm on disability and I doubt that I'll ever be able to afford to live the life that I want, but through you guys I can at least enjoy your story. When I was 12 yrs old I read, "The Dove" and fell in love with the idea of living on the water. I get motion sick in cars, trucks, planes and trains, But I Do Not Get Seasick! Really like this episode because it really shows both your educational knowledge and practical skills in your Business and your life style. You definitely have two totally different usage for this boat and you did a great job at looking at both usage separately and then seeing how you can do both into one design. Living and working in one space and keeping them separate and at the same time sharing parts of the space is the real trick. I think you did a great job at weighing both options separately and then putting the two options together and seeing how the third option of putting the two separate options together and having all three work together over a lengthy period. Hell it was hard just trying to write down what you were trying to do. So good job and fun to watch

Your reasoning for picking the 75 makes perfect sense to me. I also agree the 75 & 80 look way better than the stodgy traditional trawler yacht look of Bering's other models even though all Bering yachts are great. If I was in your shoes I would have picked either the 75 or 80.

Out Takes, YES!! Now down to brass tacks, I've heard enough of your shows to understand that U2 know what is best for whatever U2 would like to do. Unless there were an obvious and glaring miscalculation to your logic. I think otherwise, it best for one to listen and support your ideas, which are sound, in my opinion. I love the modern look of the Bering B75 and B80 what one offers over the other I've not had time to peruse the differences. It was a very good idea to have teach moment about the differences between displacement and GT and what that means, after all it has relative Bering...lol...(SQ1, at least a pity laugh) I do know this, U2 will be super successful as an OO charter couple for so many complementary reasons, Do I dare make you blush...lol... Outtakes? Of course! This part shows that you guys working hard to get the stuff together. Why B75? Pretty clear why no B70/B72, but the deference to the B77 is interesting. And if you opting for the cabin on the upper deck, that's pretty much super yacht standard, oh wait, most of the time the captain has the cabin on the upper (bridge) deck and not the owner... Can't wait to see more about the details of the propulsion and how much electrification!

I was a little disappointed that we didn't see more about the layout of the decks, but I guess we'll see that in the next episode instead.
