There's strange happenings on the beaches of Anglesey....(mainly us 2!)
Oh, and we also go wild camping! An awesome place for you to try!
➜To buy us a coffee: www.buymeacoffee.com/GnZwildc...
Wild Camping with humour! Real outdoor life. No frills. No Bullsh!t.
Camping, Hiking, Kayaking, Canoe and Vanlife - we do it all here.
Products honestly reviewed (we can't stand those fake 'unboxing reviews')
We're just a couple of 'happy go lucky' people with a passion for showing how fun the outdoors is!
Take a look and see what you think.
*All content on our channel is our own opinion and our own views. All products reviewed are based on our own findings and we will not be swayed by a company to provide biased reviews, please do not contact us if this is your intention, it is not helpful for anyone to adopt this practice! All camps and days out are our own experiences of the outdoors and how 'we' like to enjoy it personally. Any negative 'troll like', abusive or foul language type of comments will not be approved to show on the channel and the user blocked from future comments showing on our channel (they will only show to the 'said user'). This is to keep the community the nice, friendly and helpful place we have always found it to be. We operate a leave no trace ethos when we camp and try and minimise the impact we have from camping in a location. Any fire ash is doused with water and ash is dispersed/covered and all rubbish removed. We'd encourage others to do the same.

Watching two people exploring the countryside and enjoying each other is so much more interesting than watching macho solo bushcrafters with no dialogue. Great sense of humor on you two ☺️

Great adventure. I do love Anglesey, but oh my god the wind is relentless... and it's quite popular. Just off the island there's some nice dunes on the beach that goes to the West, we've pitched there on a couple of occasions. It's just out of the wind, but close enough to let you dip in the sea. Also found a small clearing in the woods further on (it's across the path from a massive clearing). Lovely place. Actually lost a Trek Tarp on one of the trips, so if you found it, enjoy it 😉

I know that area well, many years ago in the 70s my friends and I would fish on the small island of LLANDDWYN I used to live in a small village called TOWYN North Wales, during our time living in Wales it was our happiest time of our lives the only reason we moved was there wasn't very much work so we moved so we could get decent jobs we moved over 40yrs ago however we do miss the place and go back as often as we can and visit our old friends. Thanks for taking use back to the place we love so much.

No I'm not upset at all Mark, we are both recovering from COVID though. It's the reason we cut our trip short (we had 2 more locations planned after this camp). A bit sad about it but health comes first. Glad you enjoyed the video though, this camp was the night after the mansion video.

Wow, beautiful place! Love the forest next to the beach. Great to see the ruins, chapels and burial grounds. I read it was a pain in the chuffa to find overnight parking in that area. Car camping defo has its benefits!
@GarethZoeWildcamps
@GarethZoeWildcamps Жыл бұрын
Parking wasn't a problem Dee tbh. We just parked in the village and walked down onto the beach. You can't leave your car in the beach car park overnight though, which is probably where the rumour comes from. Message if you need more detailed info on where we parked :)

0:18. Everyone likes sheep! 0:24. Such an old building - 12th century! -, and left to perish! Who should look after it and doesn't? 2:08. What a nice settlement there! Not even three minutes into the video, and you've already seen more than some see in months! 3:51. Who (was able to) put that huge rock on top of the others? I'd feel a bit uneasy under it. 5:18. "The sea! The sea!" 6:40. Abandoned rails! What a thrill! And to have it all to yourselves! 7:43. Very cool steps! 8:08. Water on either side of the track! You do not get to see that often. 8:37. Track moves through passageway cut into rock. 8:42. Cool iron bridge. So many great features on such a short stretch of track! 9:00. Huge beach; and a few people spoiling the view... 10:30. Celtic cross against the low bright sky. 11:49. Ynys Llanddwyn Island Museum, closed. 12:25. Truly breathtaking panorama. 12:38. Goleudy Tŵr Mawr, the "great tower lighthouse", overlooking the Menai Strait. 13:09. The small lighthouse: Goleudy Tŵr Bach. 13:27. Ruins of Eglwys Santes Dwynwen; pretty extreme, albeit romantic, story going with those remains. 13:48. A horse; or is that Gareth? 14:12. More spectacular scenery (rocks cut by the waters). 14:41. Crab legs everywhere! 15:06. Sand dune. What a view! 15:43. Sheltered place for a tent for one at the edge of the beach. The sky is still amazingly bright blue. 17:41. Food! (Chicken curry!) Dang, I have only eaten once today, so this is not really the best thing to look at right now. It's so/too inviting! 19:11. Still no place found which is good enough for a tent. The view is splendid, though. 21:52. The day is done, the dark has fallen, the tent is finally up; just out of the woods. 22:32. What an incredible morning! You did sleep somewhere amazing last night! 22:46. Everything packed, nothing left behind to speak about people having just camped there. 22:53. I will sleep in my bed tonight - but one day, I, too, will be out there, somewhere, fire by the tent, cozy sleeping bag inside the tent. Bye!

when pronouncing the name it will be like saying land win but the capital L used with the small l it would be sounding like clanwin, and the Ynys is yinis thus Ynys Llanddwyn, however when saying the words you say them a bit quicker than you would normally speak hope that helps a bit
