Okami's a great game with more than a handful of things in common with a certain series.
I'm here to see the history and themes of Okami, see what it does better than Zelda and hopefully have a good time along the way.
So yeah this is a review of Okami - though its more like a discussion about why I think its great, not really a critical glance.

I just started Okami, well a few or so hours in, and omg this is what I've been missing in the recent copy paste botw and totk. Yea those games can have some fun parts but they're missing the best formula. Okami beats those game by far for me. I wish Nintendo would source out classic zelda games to another developer. I know it's easier and cheaper to make games copy paste open world(especially if you just keep reusing the same map) but why can't we have both? A bland open world zelda and an awesome adventure classic zelda? Hopefully we get an Okami sequel since the re-release did so well.

Great video! I’m a huge Zelda fan literally got a whole room filled just with Zelda game and I’ve always wanted to lay Okami and finally started and I LOVE IT besides the camera controls but the rest I love. Also Capcom made Legend of Zelda Minish Cap which I think Is the best 2d Zelda game but Okami is sooo good especially next to Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. I don’t love it as much as LOZ but Okami gets in my top 5 best games just recommend playing on hard than normal… normal on my 1st play though on Okami was kinda too easy and usually I like playing through normal on my first play through but just felt it was too easy once I got use to the brush

Okami is one of the most beautiful games I have played. Also, Okami takes inspiration from the LoZ series but is in no way a copy or clone0

I love this review of a beautiful Masterpiece! I prefer Glaives, though. Edit: What is you favorite soundtrack in the game?

Ay thanks for watching! Its really hard to pick a favourite, but I guess I'll go with the Battle of The Twin Demons. Just love that fight and its theme by extension. Ryoshima Coast has a really good theme too.

ive speed run/ speed 100% the game so manytimes to kill time on flights and bus rides. the fastest equip for speed is rosary/glaive... for 100% completion speed its sword primary, sheild trap fang drop (for demon fangs specifically as water tablet and other tools are demon fang purchase only)

@@adamandom also 1 thing you got right (in my opinion) is that okami's momentum in fighting/combat gameplay is EXPONENTIALLY better than older zelda games. even the fabled link wolf twilight princess combat didnt feel as fast, fluid, or hard hitting and satisfying as okami's combat.

While the first 3 3D Zelda’s are legendary in their own right okami is certainly better than any post wind waker Zelda ❤️

Yeah you're 100% right. My thought process is to emulate the humor and style that I enjoy until I find my own voice. (Pretty much treating it the same way as art styles) Better than doing nothing, and this way I'm learning the process while making stuff I'd actually watch. I appreciate the feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed!
