When we talk about street food in Old Delhi, everyone has their favorites. Having lived in NCR most of my life, I hardly ever explored Old Delhi for its food. That all has to change now as I'm exploring Old Delhi Through Its Food Culture. Chandni Chowk is the epicenter of Old Delhi and houses several street food joints and restaurants that are even centuries old. Right from the beginning shot of India gate with beautiful colours, to all the Enticing food with its unique colours & flavors, along with Delhi crowd & charm, was almost like unboxing old Delhi! my take on parathe wali gali is PERFECTLY IN SYNC WITH YOURS... it should be called 'POORI WALI GALI''' SO MUCH OIL AND FLAVOUR IS AT BEST SET UP BY THE GHEE. which naturally tastes good...

Abhishek I'm really glad you shared your genuine views about paranthe wali gali. In my honest opinion I'll not at all recommend anyone to go there, it's that bad. It's very bland & extremely overhyped & overpriced. And the major thing that I've noticed they don't change the ghee/oil in their sauce pan (kadhai) for deep frying parantha. Just because it's famous & some celebrities have tried your food (whose pics they are flashing on their walls) doesn't mean one should go there.

old delhi food is overhyped and extremely costly given the no infra cost set up they have... kolkata food is very cheap and good for palate... its just a shoshe bazi to go to old delhi for food...
