Hi.... My life and experience and what I have learned... -- life being productive can be about becoming a better person, learning about life and how to be better (read, study, educate yourself), having children, doing your best for your chidren, doing things that are good for the plant, etc. and when you are relaxing doing it in a way that keeps you productive .... dont exhaust yourself.... sleep well, eat well, cook, take care of your health, keep your home clean to a good level... etc... all of that is being productive.... some of it for you, some of it for your family, some of it for society, some of it for humanity. I work in healthcare and see that many people overwork in their jobs, dont eat well, dont cook, dont even go for walks, let alone exercise and end up very sick and even dependent on others and sometimes even on dissability payments because they did not take care of themselves properly.... Focusing only on money and work as the meaning of productive can be dangerous..... (it seems to me)..... VALUES.... there are Spiritual/religious meanings to life and then there is - The biological MEANING OF LIFE is (I have found and come to believe): SURVIVAL..... The survival of the individual, the family/clan, the nation (genetically) and of mankind as a species ..... Doing something that helps some aspect of this goal....
