I think he's snake oil salesman his so called brilliant Barca team which was brilliant because of Messi and xavi and Iniesta oh and Henry and David villa did he teach them all how to play football nope he just got lucky with the players he had and his Bayern team Robbery and lahm and others I can't remember because I wasnt that interested in fraudiola I knew exactly what he was the moment i laid eyes on him and hes chosen because he represents close minded determined rigid non thinking authority which makes peolple feel dominated and secure the wsy fergusons united used to make people feel ,football truly is the opiate of the people . And on to man Chitty and the billions and billions and billions they spent on two or three absolute world class players in every position and if they don't work out well just buy another oh and just like man utd under Ferguson the rules change when city play now they're allowed to foul with impunity constantly fernandinho and now rodri the chief culprits but they all do it they know they can they know the game they're 'meant to win ' .

Great video, well done. Looking at the defensive complications of this tactics, no wonder Man City are conceding so many goals nowadays. I think your 3-5-2 formation would really suit Man City. With Haaland and Alvarez up top, their combo would be deadly and more effective

It completely fell apart in December cause our Full backs got heavily exposed on regular attacks or counter, leaving just 2 CBs left. We just want to go back what worked before which is why Ake is coming back as LB, Regular back 4s. The Midfield and wingers is still being figured out after losing mahrez, gundo and kdb injured. Foden Alvarez been shining but what will happen when kdb, doku, and haaland are all playing together We will see in the second half of the season

great! you can kind of mimick the interchangable midfielders and wingers by making the 2 midfielders LAM, RAM in fifa24. Usually picking the fastest(preferably explosive runners) and better shots to be the midfielders and better passers to be the wingers gives the best results. Also put your Striker to false 9.

This man is a genius. He plays in the most difficult league in the world. Yest Man City are spending but also ManUtd , Liverpool , Chelsea Arsenal , Spurs and now Newcastle too . They're all spending lots of money. But that is not an issue . But since his arrival in 2016 winning 5 leagues and is favourite for a sixth skipping only 2, and now we see him creating new tactics ... this is really a peace of genius.

Just like you mentioned at the end of the video, seems like Pep wants his players to become just the football player regardless of their positions...sometimes to become a striker, a midfielder, and centerback, just the player himself.

The 3-2-5 tactic is extremely risky but if you want to score lots of goals that’s absolutely fine. This tactic can actually be counter with a 5-4-1 formation but with a condition that the back 5 are filled with at least 6’5 to 6’7 defenders.

Actually a German Sceond Tier Club "Hamburger SV" has been using this sort of play style for almost 4 years now. The Coach who really tried perfecting this tactic is Tim Walter. Obviously given the lack of Quality compared to Pep, the system hasnt been working as efficient as imagined.

Small correction, it is Hamburg, not Hamburger. Pep basically has infinite money unlike Hamburg. Pep is a tactical genius, combining him with oil money is just overpowered.

Doku isn't enough to be a Mahrez replacement, Cancelo massively missed because Walker isn't that good at attacking. Gvardiol is a CB playing LB and has been disappointing especially when he's relied to attack, Nunes/Kovacic are no where near what Gundogan was.
