India is (fairly) proficient in building their own single engine light fighters, but designing, not so much, making it somewhat disputable whether it's even really "their own". Until merely a few years back India wasn't even halfway finished with designing of the Tejas, and for them to actually build it was nothing short of fantasy. There simply was no way they would ever achieve their goal of building a modern light fighter completely domestically and without any foreign components or outside help. Their Tejas project had already been going on for 40 years or so, and with still no finished and working design let alone a flyable prototype they realised their objective was impossible, and once they faced that reality they wisely decided to ask for Western help. They hired amongst others engineers from Dassault, and if I'm not mistaken Rolls Royce as well, and with their help they finally succeeded in finishing the design of the Tejas, and a while later their first working prototype. It's now coming off the production line as an affordable and pretty effective multi-role light jet, but thanks for a large part to Western Europe.

I wouldn't say India is proficient at building fighter jets. Maybe on a production line they can assemble them, yeah. But anyone can do that. India does not have modern capabilities of designing a fighter other than maybe cloning and/or modifying a 4th gen like an F-16

This aircraft sounds like a replay of the MiG-25 Foxbat that struck fear in the West that the Soviet Union had an interceptor that outmatched our premier F-16 fighter. After a Foxbat was delivered to the West courtesy of a defecting pilot, Lt. Belenko did aeronautical experts discover the many flaws and weaknesses of the MiG. It was faster than any other interceptor, but only from point A to B at the expense of necessitating a complete change of the pair of it's engines after every supersonic flight along with inferior weapons, electronics and materials used in it's construction.

The dollar is weaken, everyone know it. Russian been short on those for a decade. The Rubble and Yuan is getting stronger, that's where the fight really are. That's how the US lose the Vietnam War 3. Russian clearly stated they wouldn't do jacks to Ukraine as long as it wouldn't touch anything NATO. The West keep influent the internal of UKR to make it join NATO. That's where Russian draw the line. The Clown knows this but still pursuit for NATO. Why don't just stay neutral? For me the fools here is Mr. Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelensky. As a Finnish citizen I am very eager to, some day when the archives will be open, be able to read more about the months after the invasion of Ukr. I am pretty sure that some scary intelligence was available for the politicians because the change of opinion from anti nato to yes nato even among the social democrats and the green party was so rapid. It is not long ago when they all sang in a choir that F wil never join Nato. I guess they (the younger mostly female politcians) got very scared of invasion and when they realized the risk of F getting next under pressure and threat. Luckily Ukraine hold against the R army. I do not know where we would be if Kiev would have fallen. Horrible to even think about it. We have a lot to thank the people of Ukraine.
@hannable70

That is very true. I honestly do not think Putin had any idea the terrible shape his military was in when he launched the invasion of Ukraine. I think he truly believed that the Russian military was as strong as ever -- and it very well could've been if so much hadn't been siphoned away due to corruption. On top of that, Russian military training -- especially for new enlisted soldiers -- is more akin to lethal fraternity hazing rather than anything approaching military training. And senior enlisted and officers often steal the paychecks of newer soldiers which kept the morale of the bulk of the fighting soldiers in the toilet. If not for these and other factors, it is very likely Kiev would've fallen in a few weeks. And I don't think for a nanosecond that Putin would've stopped with Ukraine. Why would he? Whether he would've gone for Finland, though -- that's difficult to say. Personally I think he would've gone after the break-away nations from the old Soviet Union first. Some of those nations are currently out of reach like Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. But others, like Georgia, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, etc., would be more likely targets I would think -- mainly because Russia would have a stronger claim on those nations than on Finland. In addition, if Russia brought its borders closer to NATO through invasion, he couldn't then very well complain about NATO getting closer to Russia.

theres not much question whether russian jets like the su 30, su35 or su57 are maneuverable. the problem is, its not going to matter when they are shot down from 50 miles away, by an f22 or f35 that it may not even know is there. US stealth fighters will see a semi stealthy su57 well before it can gain a target grade lock on them. whether the amrams can keep a lock on the sukoi depends on how stealthy it really is, and how good its countermeasures are. not a lot of faith in anything they have said about it at this point, but there is enough footage of it flying to know that its very maneuverable haha

It's literally one of only two advantages they have,the other being a large ballistic missile force that's pretty up to date,well stocked and well trained. Not enough to win a war,but there air to air missiles for their jets just might be enough to allow them to achieve objectives due to no one being able to actually establish air superiority. 😕 were working on the AIM260s that put the ball back in our court,I don't think there done yet though. It also possible to pick up stealth aircraft, not by active radar, but by passive scanners. Stealth aircraft do a great job of absorbing/deflecting radiation, but sometimes they can do their job a little *too* well; such craft have the potential to be picked up as shadows against natural background radiation. I feel this is why passive radar, of various spectra, is a crucial (and often overlooked) method for militaries to utilize in stealth aircraft detection.

@@theprogressivecynic2407 Not to mention that taking down the F-117A was somewhat of a fluke. It wasn't repeatable which is why the US only lost one of them. Plus the F-117 was extremely high maintainence and needed special tiles that could not be damaged in any way at all - then it had to be re-painted after every mission with expensive radar-absorbing paint. It was tedious work for the ground crew and created long turn-around times. The F-117 was basically an operational test bed for stealth technology. And it did work.

It seemed like some of the scenes were situated in Greenland for some reason? Another thing was the weaponry with Finnish soldiers using M-16's, which is very strange as the standard main battle rifle for the Finnish Military is their own AK variant, RK-62 and the newer RK-95. The strangest bit was how the Finnish flags on the Finnish soldier uniforms were backwards, or upside down on the sleeves for some reason? I get it that these are meant to be caricatures, but come on! The minimum you can do is to at least get the flag right. >.
