The logic of “if the VA is this good, the character is allowed to be broken” is something I can absolutely get behind.

Ramattra’s voice acting is so top tier. Everything he says is laced with this barely restrained rage, you feel the tiredness, anger and frustration is his interactions but also his humanity, cheerfulness and thoughtfulness in others. Then in combat you feel him letting it out, finally making the change he wants in the world and delivering justice for his kind by striking back. And it’s all in the voice acting.

I think the suffering Rammatra refers to is the fact that people who didn't pay the Battle Pass had to grind Level 45 to unlock him

when a Ramattra gets nano and busts out his ult all the enemies suddenly turn into empaths bc they can feel exactly how the demons felt in Doom

Ramattra and Zenyatta interactions are one of the best in the game, not because most of Zenyatta's interactions with other characters are cool (specially the one with Orisa), but because they have a previous story together, they both want the same, a better future for their people, but the methods they employ to obtain that goal couldn't be so different from each other.

The absolute best feeling I’ve had in Overwatch is getting bullied by the entire enemy team, killed, resurrected, nanoed, and making them suffer as I have. That line goes so hard in moments like that.

I feel that "overall rein got nerfed" nothing compared to the sheer hype of shattering the last enemy before they touch the payload causing overtime, and you win the game getting a satisfying 1 shot

Love ramattra. Together with Sigma, they're my favorite tanks.

I feel like a lot of people forget bastion also was turned into a 'tempo' hero with overwatch 2, but not as much of a lead tempo as ramattra. Bastion controls his own tempo with his sentry form, letting him take advantage of huge damage if the enemy exposes a weak link.

The voiceline I personally like the most in Ram's kit is just a standard voiceline that plays when you press shift sometimes, but it resonated with me: "I will speak to you in a language you understand: *violence!"* The reason I like that voiceline is because I've wanted to say it so many times as a child. It felt like that was the only language that was truly spoken when anyone wanted other people to listen around my house and school when I was younger, and there were many times I wished I was just bigger, stronger, or faster enough to speak that language myself, but I couldn't. Your little rant spoke to me as well. The sentiment "if I'm going to do the time, I might as well do the crime" was all too real in my little soul as a child. No one should have to live like that. It still pisses me off, a little.

Ramattra feels like he is the most strategic tank. Start the battle by poking and controlling the map with the shield and vortex and then when they make the slightest mistake punish them and start rolling the snowball by fisting and succing everybody off its amazingly designed

Ram is the first character we’ve had in a long time that reallly makes you feel the story that drew us into overwatch. Feels like we haven’t a good, in depth showing of that story this in our face until ram

Honestly I think the fact that Ramattra is broken fits with the kind of vibe they want to give him. Like he’s essentially the main villain in the game for story mode. He’s the leader of Null Sector, a terrorist organisation of Omnics that have been brought up since the first game. It makes sense that his play style is so ruthless and unfair… this guy is meant to be taken seriously and he’s meant to be this unstoppable force akin to someone like Thanos or Ultron. Speaking of Marvel Villains Ram seems to have a lot in common with Magneto in the sense that they’re villains because they feel as if they have to be. Ram and Megneto share the same philosophy. They shouldn’t have to be afraid of “lesser” beings oppressing their people because of fear and hatred. If they want war than Null Sector and the Brotherhood will oblige tenfold. These people are monsters but only from the circumstances of what they are. Ram being an Omnic and Erik being a mutant. They can’t change that nor want to because why should they to suit the needs of people who hate them anyway. Hell even their dynamics with rivals are the same. Like Zenyatta is definitely an Xavier to Ram. An old friend who’s seen as a brother challenging and trying to stop what Ram’s become. A mutual respect and friendship still there but having to fight each other anyway because both see the other as misguided in their vision. I like Ramattra a lot honestly. He’s the big bad villain but he’s so complex which is honestly a big surprise considering what game he’s from.

My one complaint about Ramattra is his gold weapon. His fists in nemesis form should be gold! Besides that, he's my new favorite character in the game after, Nemesis form got the speed buff.

My group of friends has developed a instinctive reflex of "getting the fuck away from the enemy as fast as possible" whenever they hear a ramattra ult. It's terrifying when you're pushing back the enemy, then a hulking red ball of particles comes around the corner
