This is why Red XIII decides to join up with Cloud, Tifa, Aerith and Barret in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. He'll be playable when the game launches on 29th February and we can't wait.

They said that if you do the Cosmo Canyon stuff, Red will act as Nanaki, but if you skip it, he'll disassociate and continue acting like Red XIII.

An angsty battle scarred teen. There’s a bit more reason for being angsty when you have actual conflict and aren’t an entitled kid with no real problems, but want to feel important.

I hated what the voice actor did for the change. Talk about overdoing it. They should’ve left that part out. Japanese version does it better. But in English It just ruined the entire character for me. He was my favorite. Until 65% through rebirth.
