You stated correctly that planets never move backward .They only seen going back ward on comparing speed to the earth means in this situation earth moves faster than the retrograde planet. Now why retrograde planets are stronger because these are closet to the earth with less distance between them. Moreover, we have experienced that as we close to the heater we will feel more heat as compre to going way from the heater as you explained too.

Gitanshu ji pranam, after a long time i have watched a very crisp, clear, logical explanation about retrodrade planets. I can say this to be at par with some of the best known astrologers on youtube. Best part is you have not wasted any time talking either unrelated to the topic or repeating same thing again and again or talking on what is retrogration instead on behaviour or result of retrograde planets in your chart. Also most important you have clearly explained the effect of retrogration when the planet is in good dignity and strong viz a viz when the planet is week or afflicted. Salute to you Gitanshu ji. I have 11th house retrograde Taurus Saturn 07-11-03 Kritika pada 4. Apparently it is a marak grah for cancer ascendants. How would I interpret its strength and derive the karmic message out of it? Is it required to subtract the degree of retrograde planets from 30 to find out actual degree of the, planet/s?
