I agree with most of what you say. The game is in good health and the updates often - not always - bring great new content into the game. Bottom line is that I still love playing it! It really is time intensive though and it’s not really suitable for players who skip days especially of f2p.

When people say the game it’s dying. I feel that’s more of a personal choice. I have seen a lot of people leave. The ones who try to chase or be who they couldn’t be. If you are been yourself and you understand your role and you play for fun and or the community. You have ride and will continue to drive this tornado. Until they do something that makes you mad or life itself pulls you away from it.

100% I quit 5 times and came back lol even deleted troops. i think im missing roughly 2months of consecutive log in days, so you can always bounce back and its healthy to take a a break from now and then. Just need to be transparent with your kingdom and leadership and all is well

I don’t think the game will ever die either.. there are jumpers and new players day after day and no matter how you play it, it’s addictive.

there is abit of wisdom which is hard to interpret and experience, However, there is very valuable knowledge which applies to many games not just Rise of kingdoms.

Game isnt dying but could eventually. The biggest issue I see is the new player experience. ROK is still making new KDs pretty fast. The "collection aspect" of the game - especially the complete uselessness of nearly all pre SOC comms is a real problem to investment, collection, and the new player progression experience. New players are critical to long-term success of SOC KDs and keeping them for 9 months with nothing to progress on, other than VIP and gear is dumb. Even commanders previously viewed as reasonable for SoC, like double relic mina, double relic YSG, and double relic mehmed are being power crept out of usability.

"optimisations" - for profit not gameplay. If you're somebody who played for 5 years and saw the evolution of this game, its near impossible not to have a negative view of the games content in 2023/4. If you are someone who is still in your first 1-2years you can argue the game has improved fairly. TLDR The old crew would reverse the graph and say its on a huge decline. The new players would put that graph on an incline. Its really that simple.
