I have been staying in Karnataka since birth and being from a Telugu Family we follow all the Movies of South Indian Industry. Having seen Kannada Movies, There are a lot of Movies which deserved better Collections and recognition but they didn't due to Bad Promotions and reach. Would really love to see Senior Actors from both Industries experiment like Mammooty did. I really have huge hopes on RRR(Parmavah Studios) from KFI they are really bringing in good movies and all their projects are really mature and neevu Kannada mathadirodu super macha. Nuvvu Thopu Maawa ee content inka continue chestu undu!! Loads of Respect from Karnataka!!

The main reason was Karnataka audience always praise other movies bcoz of quality but they don't support blink shakahari type movie s but some directors are doing same love story movie worst quantity

I am also a Kannadiga who follow more of Telugu movies. Good content. KFI had faced many ups and downs since its inception. In 1950s after Dr Rajkumar’s debut, 2-3 years there were no Kannada movies being produced. All actors including Rajkumar, Narasimharaju, Balanna and others had to travel all over Karnataka, perform theatre dramas and raise money. They raised money and produced ‘Ranadheera Kanteerava’. One of the expensive and also technically advanced movie. During early 80’s, specifically in 1981 Ambarish’s ‘Antha’ got released. One of the best action thrillers. And in 1982 Vishnuvardhan’s ‘Sahasasimha’ got released and again another great action thriller. Vijayan was fight master and fights were amazing. These movies came even before Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Khaidi’ released in 1983. Such was the greatness. There were few movies which were shot simultaneously bilingual in Kannada and Telugu with Rajkumar and NTR. ‘bhookailasa’, ‘Satyaharischandra’ and so on. NTR’s Adaviramudu was inspired by Rajkumar’s ‘Gandhada Gudi’ movie. KFI made India’s first full fledged bond movie in 1968. And had 4 different bond movies. And ‘Nagarhavu’ movie ‘Bare Bare’ song has one speciality. Hero’s shots are in normal speed while only Heroine’s shots are in slow motion. And its in entire song.

major problem in all language industries is audience are not interested in going to theatres. theatres ki audience ni teskoni ravadaniki promotion cheyali and promotion ki budget enduku ani anni industries neglect chestunnai, meanwhile telugu movies budget 50 lakhs aithe atleast andulo oka 5 lakhs promotions ki use chestaru. promotions lekunda movies hit avvavu unless it is a great subject and mouth talk baga spread ayithe. telugu movies lo bad content unna sare manchi promotions chestaru, memes lo youtube video collaborations tho ila. but manchi content unna sare audience vastaru ani promote cheyatledu vere languages vallu. last ki telugu valle malli aa language movies ni promote chesi hit chestunnaru. manjumel boys ki malayalam lo memes lo enni memes vachayo telidu but telugu lo prathi okkaru memes vesi promote chesaru. producers need to promote their movie. But kannada film industry tried something new in it's time, n hoping for few new experiments too. very good analysis andi..i lived for few years in Karnataka n i learnt their beautiful language by watching the greatest films of Dr.RajKumar, Ananth Nag, Sudeep etc..I have also realised how they made films on very progressive subjects like women empowerment, caste discrimination, mental health etc even from 1960s..Telugu and Tamil films those days remade or got inspired from several such films..they made many novel based movies which were my favorite like, Triveni maam, director Puttanna Kanagal sir etc..They shud work hard to bring back that kind of glory again..
