Why Sathya Sai Has No Disciples | Satsangh

In His discourse on the 28th of September 1990, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba revealed so many incidents from the life of Shirdi Sai Baba. One of them explained why Baba then and now has almost no disciples or shishyas.
Considering that the first ever message Swami delivered was "Manasa Bhajare Guru Charanam" (Oh Mind! Meditate on the Feet of the Guru), in order to become Shishyas or disciples, we must understand the meaning of meditating on the Feet of the Guru. Through the story of Fishy, we get some valuable insights. And the clear instruction comes from the amazing experience of a Sai student during the Athi Rudra Maha Yajnam at Chennai in January 2007.

Often a light is kept burning before the Shrine; so in the soul must we keep burning the light of understanding. Then no evil can touch us. Vision does not come to one whose heart is soiled by the world and heated by the fever of life. A person cannot convey constructive thought who is not in tune with the universe; but when his heart is in perfect tune, he benefits and comforts the whole world. When swamy was physically with us, i never thought about relationships with him as ' Guru' or anything else . Now if anyone asks me to follow someone , i feel pain in my heart. Then i realised that every thought of mine is occupied by Swamy. I can't live without swamy. 🙏🙏
