Most goths I've ever known in my life are not the angsty, monotone, hateful stereotypes we've seen in other movies and television. They're usually quite energetic, eccentric, upbeat, and even quite bubbly and I feel like the Hex Girls really encapsulate that where even though they dress in black and are into the macabre, they're really cool and sweet. That's probably a huge part of why people love them (myself included). Like you, I'm really hoping for a Hex Girls spinoff where they're traveling the country and fighting real monsters instead of fake ones like the Scooby Gang. Like Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets This Is Spinal Tap.

Like many people, I do love Zombie Island, but I still really enjoy Witch's Ghost a lot. I'm not sure which one I like more but this one does have some great atmosphere with it utilizing its New England location well and Tim Curry as Ben Ravencroft and the Hex Girls definitely add to the enjoyment. Also, the music is awesome as well. Still love the songs, Hex Girl, Earth, Wind, Fire and Air and The Witch's Ghost.

Personally I've always felt that The Witch's Ghost is Scarrier then On Zombie island

Who would hate this film? WB has freaking Tim Curry (best known for his roles as Pennywise and Dr. Franken Furter) in this film!! DADGUM AWESOME!

Witch's Ghost is what cemented my love for The Hex Girls

Witch's Ghost is the true sequel to Zombie Island along with the other sequels like Alien Invaders and Cyber Chase. Return to Zombie Island is not, nor will ever be canon. Plus I do love listening to the Hex Girls' tunes. They slap hard!

The Hex Girls are easily one of the best parts of the film. So my question is who is your fav from the band? Mine is Thorn

Ben had a lot of potential to be an intriguing villain if he was psychologically menacing to any descendants of people who were victims of Sarah Ravencroft and had a ruthless in addition to a murderous reputation for silencing them along with descendants of the folks who turned Sarah over and testified against her during the trial. Especially when the elders of the village would have Sarah hanged.

The ending wasn’t even supposed to HAPPEN??!🤯🤯 Dang! They ruined my Ben/Velma Ship😩💔

scooby doo movies held up well until about the monster of mexico, then after that it got a bit odd

It’s amazing how adults project their own feelings onto the hex girls. Queer rep? Girl Power? Like how are most Animated girls blah? But somehow being a eco goth is better? 😂like what! So I guess Velma and Daphne are lames now? Pretty sure the Hexgirls are just a cool bad🤦‍♀️
