Heroes is probably the most influential 3D Sonic game besides the Adventure games. Seaside Hill, Modern appearances from the Chaotix, the speed flight and power formations, the start of Team Dark, OMEGA, the extension of Shadow’s mystery, and Neo Metal is a good climatic final villain of the Adventure era. Also a lot of Heroes sound effects were reused in Allstars Racing, Sonic 4, and Gens

Another thing that Heroes did was introduce what would become iconic and memorable characters, and also reintroducing older characters to a more modern audience. Characters like Cream and Omega fall in the former category, as they are beloved by fans. And in the latter category, we got Team Chaotix. The last time those characters were relevant was back in Knuckles Chaotic. Heroes really did help bring new life into the trio and made them into fun recurring characters.

Sonic Heroes is my favorite 3D sonic game. The main reason is because we can control 3 characters at the same time which was a dream come true for me. Back in the 90s When I play Sonic games on the Genesis. I always wished they were an official mode to play Sonic, Tails and Knuckles at the same time just like Tails following Sonic in Sonic 2. Back in 2002, When I was teenager kid, I saw on the internet that the next 3D Sonic Game will let you control Sonic, Knuckles and Tails at the same time. Word could not describe how excited I was. It was a dream come true for me. I saved my money for 1 year to buy Sonic Heroes and a PS2. I still have my original copy of sonic heroes from 20 years ago

I would love to see a Remastered 06 Game but I understand why they would pick Heroes as the Game is Less Complicated and Easily Reproduced than 06 or the Adventure Games.

I feel you there Riders. Sonic Heroes made me a believer in gaming as that was also one of the first games I played growing up that really got me into gaming and the rest was history. So if this gets remade I just hope it’s done right. 😭🙏

Because it's locked on Gamecube era consoles and could use some physic polishing. The only soap that needs to be in my Sonic games is SOAP Shoes. Not whatever Heroes was made of that caused your characters to shoot off wherever the heck they felt like going. Still think Unleashed should've got a remake first. We have... methods to play Heroes. Methods that aren't as effective for 360/PS3 games depending on your "hardware". And while I like UnWIIshed, it's not the version people want to play.

Sonic Satam and Sonic X really got me into Sonic games. I remembering hoping as a kid that I picked the right game that’ll make me feel like I’m in the show and Sonic Heroes then Sonic Unleashed Ps2 were absolutely the best games for me to start off with. I love playing this game to this day and I really hope they give Sonic heroes the Crash and Spyro trilogy treatment

It's true that last year Sega was focusing a lot on Sonic Heroes, and the theories suggested that they would do something. Now everything is accentuated.

I wanted it to be 06 because that was my first ever 3d sonic game i played and i liked it but i dont mind that its heros because i can play the 2 adventure games on the xbox but not heroes

If they keep the voices the same and just update the graphics, that would be great. It was my first game after all❤

I really hope to God that we're gonna get Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, and Sonic Heroes all together in a remake trilogy like with Crash and Spyro. That would be the best thing to ever happen to me this year.

Excited never played it

If you were to personally ask me, I probably would rather want a Sequel than a remake. Remakes can be fantastic suped-up representations of the games they are re-vamping, but I'm also afraid that they could mess it up; giving the detractors more fuel to burn against Heroes as a whole. (Yeah, it's not really fair play, but yknow)

It makes sense to ditch the idea of doing Adventure remakes for now and do Heroes instead because: 1. That game never got ported to any other consoles and have always only been available to play on a bunch of super expensive discontinued ones, so remaking that game would be good because then any fan who never had a chance to play the original one can be able to play an improved version of it on modern consoles and PC. 2. SA1 & SA2 are so beloved by multiple fans, and Sega knows that both: they currently don't have enough trust from those fans and that those fans would come after that videogame company on worldwide social media as a major angry mob if they mess up remakes of SA1 & SA2, so they have to prove that they can do well at making remakes before attempting to remake those 2 beloved games that the fans (including me) very much want modern HD quality remakes of to be made.

If they truly remaking sonic heroes well that means now I can finally finish business with that game cause I only did complete half of the game on GameCube as a kid I only completed team chaotic and team rose stories

Sonic heroes is the most Sonic game there is. Sonic adventure games were the ones that tried to change it up from the 2d side scroller.

Sonic Heroes has the best pop rock song of the 2000s. I just needed it to chart on billboard and knock off Beyonce or Taylor Swift from number one. lol
