Whoa I needed to hear this Thanks for sharing such hard to share hindsight +self-hurtful + self-healing content 🙏 That cat hug from behind sticker is such a cute visual reminder to express the self-compassion practice..(ie not enough to just know..need to extend an arm out) . ❤️ May I ask where is that lovely girl and cat sticker from?

I’m so happy to hear that you found this helpful! 💗 I think the sticker you’re referring to comes from Pion PET tapes. It’s either the Cat Girl or Twilight set. 🥰

That rose ink, give it a whirl in your VP with the medium nib, I find that drier inks are a better fit with my thicker nibbed pens. And for self compassion, it is such an important antidote for all the rigid ideas in my head the “shoulds” and “that was wrong.” On hard days I give myself gold stars for getting through the day (literal gold star stickers). Those empty journal days, those are gold star days because you got through them the best you could!

Ooh, thank you for the suggestion - I will try Lady Rose in my medium VP. I have since learned that shading inks tend to be on the dry side… and I love a good shading ink, so at least I’ve reset my expectations on how dry inks may be unavoidable if I am looking for lots of shading. 😅 That was another motivation for getting a broader nib. I LOVE that you’re giving yourself gold stars on those days. ✨⭐️ I might borrow that idea! After I filmed the video, I actually filled up a few previously empty pages with some sheening ink recommendations that I came across on Reddit… it ended taking 4 pages to capture all of them! 😳. It’ll be fun to keep an eye out for ink samples but/trade for on that list to try in the future. ☺️

how do you remember what inks you have in what pens???

I log it in my A6 every time I fill a pen up. I also keep a separate TN insert as well so I can refer back to the ink itself and how it wrote in whatever pen I inked it in. 🤓😅

@@LittleCocoStudio tbh I only have a few fountain pens. I bought that platinum carbon black ink you talk about in your videos and i've really been liking it. I'm pretty basic.

@@Terrible_Hime I think it’s wise to stay minimal and basic because now that I’m enjoying experimenting with ink, the desire to try new brands and colours is constantly there. 😅
