Sunday nahi, till 1999, Saturday ko aata tha and fir98 end, 99 begining around ek notice aaya ki shaktimaan agle hafte se sunday ko aayega and not saturday because a lot of kids were bunking school to watch shaktimaan. I was watching something else but I remember the notice very well, Shaktimaan made this announcement on TV.

Shaktimaan shouldn't be revived. Mukesh Khanna is a typical preachy holier than thou uncle and he imagines Shaktiman in his own image. It would simply stand no chance in today's world when the viewers have already watched far more complex and interesting heroes. The nostalgia factor won't work as the generation who may have felt nostalgic are in their early to mid-30s.

with all respect..shaktimaan has nothing to do with mukesh khanna except a good roleplay and story...its about moral values, down to earth and helpful spirit shaktiman was used to teach..a actor with good looks, acting skill and fan following can handle this role for sure...its just about revenue..is 90s kids nostagia is enough to make it a hit??

Mukesh khanna needs to realise that the character Shaktimaan is in our hearts, not a self righteous narcissist who has become irrelevant eons ago. Also, this movie even if made, will crash and burn.

I hope Vidyut gets the role. It would be a turning point for VJ ❤. I’d love to see him as Shaktiman. VJ has potential but he hasn’t gotten a big budget movie. Shaktiman was my first super hero series and I got to know superhero through shaktiman.

Sakthiman is confirmed basil josaph directing sakthiman movie with ranveer sigh. Directer Basil Joseph friend dhayan sreenivasan said this news in this new movie's interview. He just said that basil Joseph going working a superhero movie in Hindi with a ' Singh '. Dhyan sreenivasan just mention a 'sigh' for didn't mention ranveer sigh's full name but he also said that that ' Sigh' is commented basil Joseph's instagram post. The only one commented is Ranveer singh. So it's confirm. Ranveer sing is sakthiman

If you look at Malayalam interviews of Basil Joseph's friends(Dhyan Sreenivasan and Vineeth Sreenivasan) you know that the Shaktiman movie is in development even his friends confirmed that he narrated the story to Ranveer Singh and Ranveer Singh liked it

I know shaktiman was not just a super hero show but also a nostalgic emotion to most of the Indians eho are in their 20s to 50s but sometimes when we feel like we need it again in cinemas it's actually the age that we miss, not just the show. Leaving it the way it was would be better. There are a lot of other stories and ideas that can be put forward to produce than being nostalgic about something that's risky to be accepted by the audience to be honest.

I really admire mukesh khanna but lets be honest seeing Mukesh Khanna personality from his interviews and videos, he seems like to be still stuck on the era of 90's. So, really sceptical about the storyline. It could go on either ways- it might could become the biggest indian superhero movie with a nostalgic touch or could become cringiest big screen disaster.

Netflix pe best international shows hai lekin superhero ya sci-fi, fantasy genre ka mujhe koi Indian series Netflix pe nhi dikhi. The Archies ki tarah kahi wo bhi barbad na kar de. Aur waise bhi Netflix ki movie theatre me release bhi hogi ya nhi. I am not a 90s kid actually I was born in late 2000s still love Shaktiman. Chahe Sony Pictures banaye ya Netflix usko direct koi Indian director hi krega ab Christopher Nolan to nhi hi. Hope so jaldi aur achha movie bane

In my opinion, I cannot accept Ranveer as Shaktiman, bring in a new face more serious and more manly. Ranveer's lean face and also his behaviours don't make him serious to play the character at all.
