I had to take space for myself today. It was the toughest thing I've ever had to do... but I had to detach from her, emotionally. There needed to be a big change in our dynamic before it was brought to the point of not being able to save the feelings we have for each other. She said she won't be available once I am. This is a way of testing your emotional dependency. I have to show her that I'm ok if she's not. When they tell you they need space/distance give it to them and maintain that distance. You know what’s sad about women who give up on their man in search of something better? When they leave their man absorbs the hurt and becomes what they wanted in their absence. This is what I’m going through right now my girlfriend and I are on a break because she’s been feeling overwhelmed with school, work, and me. She wants to but you're in the way, if she comes back it is because once she cheated the excitement wore off and she thinks now she can just pick up things with you like they were before. If she says she needs space, give her space, all of it and don't let her come back. Giving someone space is not working on a relationship it is abandoning one. There are plenty of other women out there that you can have a relationship with, why pick one that does want to be with you but needs "space".

I took a step back. She's my twin flame so I think taking a step back and giving her time might bring her to me eventually. It worked for me when I didn't want to talk to her at all. Eventually I realized I didn't want to just forget. I think God has brought her to me and since she's close to God perhaps she'll feel the same way.

Very solid advice. I was in a relationship and i wanted it to work so badly that i lost myself. There was a lotta pain involved and it changed me. I had to go through that pain to make the change within myself. I now use my big head and think (instead of using the little head) in order to keep the respect. Respect must be established and kept in the relationship. It's not easy because a woman gets emotional and pushes but as a man you have to establish your frame and demand respect when necessary. As a man you are worth every bit in a relationship. You can have passionate sex and lose yourself in that moment from time to time....but you always have to come back and maintain your frame as a man and lead as a man would do.

Wow, how you're explaining the issue in this video, truly makes sense and from your female perspective makes logical sense. I've been on a forced no contact and have been going to therapy and working on bettering myself, looking specifically at what I did wrong and like you're explaining, how I showed up. We have two baby boys and I truly love my wife but there are lots of moving parts that I don't control, that I unnecessarily focused on that brought my relationship to an end. I don't know if I will get her back but I'm going to fix my wrongs for our boys sake and if she finds I've changed and forgives me, we can make our family whole. As a quiet person who can choose to be outgoing (depending on situations), I don't let people into my circle that quick. I'm very observant and I like the people in my life to have some sort of purpose to be part of it. Example- Parents are there to support me. Friends are there to be there during our best and worst times. Cowrkers are there to fulfill company goals and pass time. Yes, sometimes you won't figure out what purpose someone has in your life right away. However, if a person decides to act one way, can't make up time to learn about each other, and I catch them lying about their life, I would expect an apology from you( even though it's highly impossible that they will because people do not like to be humiliated) because of the mind games. Since I know I am a genuine person, i do growl when someone is being distrustful and I don't let it slide. No one is perfect in this world which i understand. But i expect full communication, especially if you're someone older than me. If you're a nice person but decide to play mind games, are you really that nice? "high value people" my ass. We're in an era where people want to be treated equally with respect, yet people can't simply give it without hurting their own ego. Let's be honest, men do have ego but we tend to be humble for the sake of what's importtant to us. I could be wrong in this sense, but when a woman gets caught, they have a hard time to apologize for their faults. I did go off topic a bit, overall, the people in my life must have a purpose to be in it. I'll test people based on their loyalty, truth, understanding, communication. I just been slapped with a divorce by a court order and had three days to move out after 16 years, so I definitely gave her space.
