I agree with everything you said. I have been eliminating “friends” from my life. I pay attention to what people do and say, and when they cross the line a few times I know they’re doing what they do on purpose then promptly ghost them. I don’t need friends that drag me down, or become a heavy weight. I’d rather be all alone than have the typical person as a friend.

Another great video, every friendship I had in the past always ended up unbalanced, I found I was giving more and more as I constantly evolve and was tiered of seeing those around me stagnate and would not do what they said ie: improve their situations, end relationships that degraded and I ended up being the emotional dumping ground for them.

If you are performative in establishing friendships, then you are not secure within yourself. Authenticity is something I wear like a badge of honour. I am who I am, not a performing monkey. That tends to make me somewhat threatening, which I do not intend. I have been told, for example, that I am well spoken and have a strong command of the English language. As well, I have been told that this alone is threatening. That does not make me a threatening person, but someone to whom, some people feel inadequate. That being said, I do indeed spend a lot of time on my own, which is just fine with me. No insult intended.

@@ichbanana7630 People who will support you no matter what, not having to overwhelm yourself and have people who can lighten the load, someone to talk to when you feel upset. Those are just a few benefits and as someone who was forced to be alone for a while, it starts out okay but eventually you will want to talk to people again. Relationships are the only reason I haven't killed myself yet so I find it very helpful and I got into a nice friend group recently which has helped me become a much better person.

@@timothyhight9588 "Me too". Actually. I can't fathom why somebody would think pre-Gen-X grew up different. Yes, in some ways, but more to the point NOT as far as what shapes sigma's. Usually that being the brunt of societal rejection, which has happened since the beginning of time. What this does is send the future sigma into some form of considerable adjustment, but since it's somewhat new to him he's uncertain, but while everyone was, he's more so, because he's having to largely abandon his old ways. The ironic thing is, especially if he attuned to the bettering, he ends up some years, or decades later, able to take so much the general society is all but helpless about. His main lesson. He learned what rejection is, and knows how to deal with it, but better yet, knows to expect quite a lot more of it. People pleasers haven't a clue about this and its why they panic.

Actually they do. It comes with better intuition. You beat them to the punch so to speak. In the old days you made some attempts to see if you fit in, but later you just need know they're a group and that's often enough to keep you out, because you've seen it enough. Oddly enough though, if you sort of start the group, like you're their leader? Amazing how good it works, because unlike a lot of other leaders, you lead from the front line, and subordinates know you put your money where your mouth is because they see it every single second.
