Silkworm is what they're called, but they're actually Bombyx Mori caterpillars. You guys need to stop getting so pressed over a simple statement. Because silk is made out of silk and with milk you can use bilk for more silk. With that silk you become a ilk. When you become an ilk your name becomes Wilk. Once your name changes to Wilk, you are able to make buttermilk. With that you can continue to make vegetable silk. That's why silk is so expensive because of all the ilks.

I don't know if silk is worth the cost, all I know is this: I replaced my cotton pillow cover with a 100% silk one and it was probably one of the best decisions I made for my face. 1) Silk doesn't absorb your night time skin care products like cotton 2) Silk doesn't cause friction to the hair and the face so if you're a side sleeper you won't get any wrinkles from sleeping on a silk pillowcase and your hair won't frizz up. 3) Cotton pillow covers tend to "spoil" overtime and must be thrown out every few months. Silk lasts much much longer. My silk pillowcase has lasted 3 years now and its in the same condition it was when I first bought it. 4) Silk won't accumulate microbes so you won't get acne from your silk pillowcase Seeing how nice silk was to my face, I replaced my hair ties with silk hair ties and I plan on replacing my sheets with silk as well.
