The main reason signed with RR instead of Simon is so that Angelina could control her own music - what she sings, what she writes, and what she records - and RR gave her that opportunity - she didn't want Simon or his producers to control her music. Also, one of the provisions of the RR contract would be that Angelina would be able to finish school before being heavily promoted.

This video is full of misinformation. AGT had wanted Angelina on the show for several years after she won Norway’s Got Talent. AGT was turned down because Angelina and her family did not want her to be obligated to sign with Simon’s label. After negotiations a deal was struck that would allow Angelina to appear on the show without any of those obligations to sign. So, there was never any intent for her to sign with Simon, therefore nothing to back out of. No falling out between her and Simon. The deal got her on the show which AGT wanted and gave Angelina exposure. Now whether or not that did not allow her to win has always been speculated. The exposure probably helped her in obtaining her contract with Republic Records a few months later

When she won Norway’s Got Talent, she was a CHILD. She was seven! Not because they did not want obligation to Simon’s label, but they did not want obligation to ANY production house. The best thing parents can do in her case. And who knows what was the contract conditions in USA 🤷♀️. All in all everything is ok now.

Exactly,,, it was the year before her AGT performance Champions 2,,, During The AGT Champions 1 when Angelina turned down the "Mandatory Entry Contract",,, but was a guest from Simon to watch the show,,, Simon needed Angelina more than Angelina needed the show (My opinion) FOR RATINGS,,, Witch was the highest ratings they ever had,,, (I believe) 👣

Angelina and her team have been very successful,she is on the cusp of superstardom at just 18 years of age.She has done this with pure raw talent expressed in her own unique artistic way.AGT was useful for exposure to the US market,then 2020 happened and everything was on hold careerwise.Judge Heidi Klum is great friends with Angelina,she even had her perform live on her show German's Next Top Model.She is a prolific songwriter with well over 100 songs yet unpublished.Angelina is the real deal,don't miss out folks,it's quite the trip.

Judging by the infinite number of versions that I've seen of this story, it seems that no one is completely certain of the exact details, and a large amount of what we see appears to be speculation. Angelina has most certainly long ago moved on from this outcome, and I think so should we.

"AGT (America Got Talent) had always been interested in bringing Angelina to the show, but with their normal contract, artists are being locked into a label, management, and other things for many years. Astar says that it didn’t matter if you get exposure or not, it was out of question to give away that right. “Some time passed and they again contacted me, asking if she wanted to sing on their show. I convinced them to give me a contract where Angelina is free from any deal if she performs, she is great for their TV show and Angelina will get the exposure she needs to breakthrough, because I knew, the talent is one of the kind like no other, I just needed her to be seen and was on a daily hunt for how to get the right spot for her in the USA.”

u dont know what u r talking about...angelina was released from all the obligatory contracts so that she would appear. she was always staying independent until she found a company she was comfortable with...there was no way they could let her win...BTW RR built angelina her own studio and she owns all her masters !!!

Angelina Jordan is a world icon in the making; as in: the best that there is. A unique voice and super talented. Why run with the masses; she has a style and background experience, few can touch. Angelina should run her own course without being shuffled through mass production venues seeking to control another's destiny. I think Angelina and her family have made careful steps to protect her music, her mission, and her physical and mental health. If she'd signed with Cowell's label, she sure wouldn't have her own purpose built studio, and she wouldn't be working with the likes of Toby Gad and Diane Warren, two of the top five songwriters of the last (at least) two decades. Angelina, in a sense, couldn't afford what she'd lose if she signed with Simon. All I can say is, with Angelina and Republic Records, look out world!

It’s not why didn’t Simon sign Angelina it’s more like why didn’t Angelina sign with Simon,Angelina’s manager Uncle Mike and AJ family made it clear Angelina will not be used by the Cowell franchise, and I believe that’s why Angelina didn’t win the show, every performance of Angelina’s was phenomenal on the show, I’m glad Angelina signed with Republic records as they respect her phenomenal talent so much so they built Angelina her own studio and allow Angelina to flourish in her own way, also the music Director of Republic records Rob Christie is featured in many of Angelina’s videos!

In a recent interview in norway... Angelina told that one of the main reasons why they moved to US is her record company.😉 ....and that is even before AGT. So fans who want to know more can start with that.👍

ulyses Her AGT performances were in the fall of 2019. She signed with Republic in August 2020. So it's unlikely that Republic was on her radar when she moved to the U.S. in 2018.

Besides if they did plan on accepting the AGT's invitation which they did.. it is better for RR and Angelina to make everything officially after the competition concluded which is again they did. Although I could be wrong but based on what Angelina herself said in the interview where again she said that it's her record company as one of the reasons why they moved to the US that's the most sensible thing I could come up with.

The replies are bazaar because whenever I've shared an.opinion her "angels" don't like, one of the replies to me is, she was signed with RR at about age 12, and was I SIGNED with someone at that age! She was already with RR and that's why she didn't sign with Simon, that she just wanted to sing for him (wink, wink, it was totally for exposure,,who does she and her fans think they're kidding).What am I missing? The AGT folks have no track record of successfully handling artists, or can you name at least one successful example? Hence artists would be well advised to avoid lock-in to them if they can avoid it and have other offers. And of course if you want to work in this business you better quickly realize the realities of how it works. Talent shows are entertainment, not real competitions. They will use you and you can use them for exposure - thats the deal.

If you enter a contest, but first they tell you that you have to sign a contract with them, it is no longer a contest. Angelina won because her video had more than 103M views, and the Queen Band itself congratulated her several times from its official account and He gave him his rights to the Bohemian Rhapsody cover, luxury of an artist and human being, The Best, Angelina forever

I believe Angelina signing with Republic Records was a MUCH better choice than with Simon's label. Angelina signed with Republic Records at age 14, as their highest priority new artist. Republic built her a studio for her to create her magic. While we don't know the terms of the contract with Republic, Angelina's career has been on a slow, steady pace forward. She has had opportunities of meeting and working with the elite in the music industry. Angelina is only 18 years old and there is no reason to fully promote her yet. Angelina has yet to release a full album on Republic, but there are hints her first album may come in September 2024. Angelina and her music have improved the quality of my life more than I can express. Her voice hugs my soul and she makes me feel the emotions of the song, unlike any other.

First, Angelina would not have signed with Simon’s label . She has maintained a lot of control over her music. Angelina is not trying to be an American pop singer. She has been developing her international presence and has earned more than she would have winning AGT Champions. Still, the voting on Champions was sketchy.

Did you ever stop and think they did her a favor? And nixxed her video once she gained copyright for her own version on her own channel? Seems obvious enough to me that's possible. They own everything from the show, maybe they tried to direct traffic to her, and denounce ownership of that performance.

And if that was the case, she and her team knew before hand I'd assume. The thoughts of drama and resentment between anyone is purely us being drama queens.
