@SnookTV aka "Snooki" stopped by Betches virtual HQ to fill us in on how she's been surviving quarantine with her two little roommates (her children) and gives us the tea on why she left the Jersey Shore. She starts by talking about the difficulty with virtual schooling, but how overall she's very grateful for all the moments of hanging out and snuggling they wouldn't have otherwise have been allotted.
Snooki, who's always been very public with her fitness journey explains how she's counterbalancing working out and drinking wine as a way to stay sane during these unorthodox times. Her daughter is still able to attend cheer practice and her son Lorenzo goes downstairs with his Mom to practice his favorite sport, boxing! Both kids love all the outdoor activities they possibly could, running around, jumping on the trampoline, swimming, etc. so with the cold weather all new parenting challenges may arise.
While Snooki hates cooking, and most of her Mom friends also hate cooking, but she can't sing enough praises for the air fryer that apparently cooks chicken in like 17 minutes! Snooki now has two stores, one in Madison, New Jersey, and one in Beacon, New York where she grew up. She also has recently launched her baby line with Your Baby, and shows off the designs of anything you would need to transport a baby that you can now buy at Buy Buy Baby! She then discusses The Meatball Show, her weekly Instagram Live show with Jersey Shore cast member Deena Cortese and how the fans loved it so much they turned it into a line of march.
Then Snooki gets into the hypothetical questions of who from the Jersey Shore cast she would quarantine with, and to no shock says Jenni aka JWoww, and Deena, and how they would love to quarantine at Jenni's house because it's so beautiful and kid-friendly.
Finally, Snooki discusses the reasons behind leaving Jersey Shore Family Vacation. She explains how hard leaving her babies to film was, even if it was just for a couple weeks. Of course, the drama between fellow castmate Angelina added to her reasons behind leaving but for the most part she just felt like the time to leave had come, which is very understandable. She discusses the ideas of guest appearances, which she does not think about doing at all because she doesn't want to discuss the drama with Angelina. She does talk about how happy she is working with MTV and how she's in talks of doing other things with them...a spinoff?? We'll have to wait and see.
She then gets into her podcast "It's Happening with Snooki and Joey" with best friend/comedian Joey Camasta who she met at the very beginning of her career when he was her makeup artist. After demanding he take shots in between doing her eyeshadow, an unbreakable bond was created between them and they've been tight ever since! She discusses the tour they went on together that was cut short by COVID but will come back in full swing when quarantine ends.
She ends by discussing the surprising fact that she's obsessed with Disney and that's the thing she's missed the most during quarantine!
