It is not just perceived value. Other chocolates will be manufactured in India with local ingredients. These are international chocolates and they source raw materials from special farms - all that adds to the cost. In addition, these are not made in India - you have to take into consideration the foreign exchange value as well. Anything made in USA or Europe will be expensive in India. Thirdly, transportation costs also add to the price.

Not better ,but anything made in rich countries will be costly even for poor quality product. Here if salary of a employee is 15000/month. Then outside salary for same and even lesser work will be 75000/per month. Cost of milk in india is 66rs per liter for amul. In outer country it will be 200-400 per liter. Why do you think China and India are Industrial hub for whole world. Even though if a Brand is foreign ,it is most probably be made in India/china or some other cheaper country.

The economics varies based on the type of goods - for e.g. clothes are manufactured in poor countries but, the makers sell them in foreign countries for higher profit. But, there are types of products like chocolates where the prices are high because the quality of stuff used in preparation is higher quality - imported from various countries, and various other reasons.

Main kabhi esi cheezo ko nahi khareedta jo uski competitive price se bohot jyada ho. Jaise ki agar sab jagah 10rs. K 6 golgappe milte hain Or koi ek banda aaya bolne laga ki ham 10rs. 3 ya 4 denge toh bhai ese logo k paas main kabhi nahi jata. It is a complete deception , whereas a hardworking guy works day and night to produce such products in minimum wages on the other hand these brands put a fixed tags in which you are not even allowed to ask . Price marking should be made based on the quality not on the socio marketing strategies . Government intervention is necessary in such cases .

True! That’s the only reason latest iPhone costing ₹79-89K and still runs on 60hz but we fans buy it anyways! Bcuz of brand My current phone is 60hz (14 Plus) and been iOS user since 2013 so yeah! Those brand also got brand loyalty from fans
