@@krayproductions7987 Well, seeing as how almost the entire Arab world either has officially ratified peace/normalization treaties with Israel and/or some form of full acceptance of Israel and are very eager to trade, have technology exchanges, and military alliances with Israel.....they'd say it's going pretty well
@krayproductions7987

@@disdoncable Sure only for economic reasons but not with heart. You can see the leaders doing that, ask the people and you will find a different answer. The fact is that Israel has made big problems for the Arab countries with the huge refuge of Palestinians til this day. The wars it made directly and indirectly. Even if you would ask the leaders they would if they had a chance of Israel or no Israel. They would take the later because that would make peace in the Middle East possible and with that economic thrive. Israel is the key issue in the Middle East.

@@krayproductions7987 This is true; it did not go well for the Arabs when they started a war in 1948, and again in 1967, and again in 1973, and '87, 2000, and again in 2023 it is still not going well for them. One begins to wonder why.

@@asemalshoura519 "170 million native Americans and Austrilia", what are you on about?? Australia had ~1.5 mil natives, which at one point dropped to 1 million and now recovered to 1.5 million again. As for Americans, a lot died due to Asian, European and African diseases being introduced (which is hard to determine) 4 centuries before vaccines were invented; no one could control that, same as how Europeans could not control their own deaths due to local diseases in Africa until the invention of quinine - hence, most of African countries are still 98-99% African after colonial rule except maybe SAR.

The million-dollar question remains, why wasn't it ''occupation'' when Egypt and Jordan occupied Gaza and the WB for 18 years; why did the Palestinians not pursue statehood when these two Arab states had the whole of Gaza and the WB under their watch? It would seem that the agitation has more to do with chasing off the Israelis entirely out of the levant area christened 'Palestine' by the Romans.

2 wrongs don't make it right. The occupation of Palestinian lands is wrong, let it be by Israel or anyone else. On top of that, Israel is an apartheid state. It oppressing, stealing lands, and it's happening now. That's why the world is not accepting anymore.

I'm not from the area, but I think I can provide an answer to your million-dollar question. Not all people are political. End of the day, normal people just want to be able to live a reasonable life. Palestinians could live a few hundred years under Ottoman empire, they can also live under another name, Egypt or Jordan or even Israel, if they are afforded to have a reasonable life. This answer is based on experience learnt from history. My country had been occupied multiple times. If the oppression is high, the revolt would be fierce and the occupation would be short lived. If the oppression allowed the people to live reasonable well, the occupation could last for a few hundred years in peace. We also had a situation with best case scenario when the occupation mixed well with the local culture, and created a new mixed race nation prosperous for a few hundred years.

What’s not to understand here? There are two kinds of Arabs. Ones that are stuck in the past and ones that finally began looking towards the future. They used to all be into Islamism and jihad and all that but then many of the Arabs realized they actually wanted to you know… live? The UAE for example builds these incredible city’s and they have good relations with Israel. Israel is also a forward looking nation. The problem are those who are stuck in the past.

The gulf countries are mature enough to resolve this issue diplomatically, which is what Saudi was working on. But, the less developed Arab countries, filled with hate, are dreaming of eliminating it. Each time they've started a war on Israel and it ended with their loss; loss of land, loss of lives and property. To take down Israel will require a huge sacrifice, millions of lives and maybe bringing ME as a whole to ruins. But is that worth it? Why not just take your part of the land and develop it in peace, and let everyone enjoy theirs?

Middle Eastern peoples choose dictatorships when they kick out American supported regimes anyway. Just look at Iran - and now the Iranian people are increasingly sick of the Ayatollahs, but can’t get rid of them either. If there was something remotely resembling a democratic tradition in the Middle East, this wouldn’t be an issue, but frankly it’s just not a part of the culture of the Middle East to give voice to the people - it has always been a land of imperial conquest. Usually Arab imperialism, but imperialism all the same.
