This is a first seminar in a forth semester of series at LSU Computational Biology Seminar Series for Undergraduates.
Stephanie Hicks, alumni of the mathematics program at Louisiana State University (LSU) and postdoc in the Rafael Irizarry lab in the Department of Biostatistics and Computational Biology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, presented her research on genomics to undergraduate students in the Life Sciences Annex. Her research aims to assess biological variability at the genomic level through analyzing large data sets through statistical approaches.
This seminar series is sponsored by the LSU Department of Biological Sciences, the Center for Computation & Technology (LSU-CCT), and Louisiana Biomedical Research Network (LBRN).
The talk was aired live via SeeVogh on February 11, 2015.
