Towards the end of every semester, when the workload is at its peak. I get frustrated to a point i say things like," I better get paid a minimum wage of 40k per month after deductions" to cope.😂 I know it sounds unreasonable, but it keeps me grinding

tysm for the video. i plan on majoring on it too but I'm scared about the future job like. i watched a few tiktok reel that said that chemical engineering only will get you job in very remote places and industries. i would much rather work in office settings/ in city yk. so I'm scared

Idk.. much but what I know about Chem Eng jobs will depend you may work on field and in office too... Though for better start is good to go on field because u will learn alot and apply theories that we learnt 😊 "All is well when you love what we do" Thanks

That’s not necessarily true. You will find more traditional chemical engineering work in remote areas but you can definitely work in an office setting as a chemical engineer.

I work 5 days a week. 40 hours a week, 9 hours a day so a normal day is usually from 07:00 to 16:00.

Hey. Maybe try getting some vacation work somewhere then use that opportunity to showcase yourself. Make sure you work hard and be enthusiastic about learning during the vacation work/internship.

Found your content today on TikTok and I’m not looking back anymore ❤..definitely love at first sight I’m inspired I’m also doing my final year in Chemical Engineering and Yeah fingers crossed I’m hoping to get placed in Sasol Secunda🥹 I’m using Sasol bursary i was there early January for my Vac work ..
