Its the black dominance they can't fit in the same sentence with their power. Over the last decade she has had dominant championship teams and looks like she is headed for another title that will put her in the company of Kim Mulkey, Tera over at Stanford, and eventually Pat Summit and Geno. And in record time when parody is better than it's ever been when Geno and Pat ruled. She is not only known she is dominant in WCBB who wants to change the face of the sport now that companies and investors are chumping at the bits to get into an exploding market. Same game, same playbook. When they can't control, stop, slow down a program like hers they turn on the propaganda machine and go to work on trying to discredit your accomplishments. Look how the last two predominantly black championship teams have been treated by the media and the NCAA as defending champions. They are never blitz marketed in their championship year and always the subject of some fabricated smear campaign. It's a back lash because they know Dawn has positioned her program and is able to attract the best talent that can win numerous championships in the next decade. Many market manipulators can't stomach the thought that they not stopping her dominance anytime soon.😅

I've been a Gamecocks fan for 60 years and ill tell all you younguns this....We have never had any respect in any of our sports teams!None whatsoever!But.... that's ok! After we win the National Championship in women's basketball for the 3rd time and then repeat next year....the respect will come!And.... Lamont Paris has our mens teams doing exceptional things!Ive just got a old man feeling in the next 5 years or so that South Carolina sports are all people that are fans of great sports will be talking about who can beat us and who can stop the oncoming train that is South Carolina!Im thinking TOTAL DOMINATION! From a longtime Gamecock fan, these bozos forget why Dawn's teams are now so physical. That is because Dawn lost 2 NCAA tournament games from waiting for refs to call fouls on what she considered excess physicality. So, that is why she changed. I would say anybody who is talking about the Lady Gamecock's physicality just weren't watching when other teams responded to Gamecock talent with physicality that is just like what Dawn coaches now, except for the thugging. For all these whiners "Where were you when less talented, poorer coached teams were beating Dawn and the Lady Gamecocks by pushing, shoving, pulling hair, throwing cheap elbows?!?"
