That is my favorite relay of all time!!! London 2012 Carmelita, Tianna, Felix & Knight! Carmelita put the final mail stamp of victory pointing to the clock. That relay is exciting to watch even today. That was special.

Omg please get one of those ladies to relive that moment. One of my favorite relay races. Felix screaming go to Knight after the hand off gives me absolute chills. Then Jeter bringing it home was simply amazing.

@@actual_random Team Jamaica, but you're gonna leave Bianca alone, for real. Let me tell you, she's one of the nicest, fairest, and most understanding person in the track world, for real. Y'all don't realize that most athletes aren't coming on these podcasts; many think they're too big to give their fellow athletes an interview. But time and time again, Bianca shows up and shows out for her friends and fellow athletes. Not many athletes, past or present, give interviews on platforms like this, so take it and appreciate it while it lasts. You rarely see top athletes going on a KZfaq/podcast interview; most think they're too big for the program, lol. 😂

Knowing ShellyAnn and people who interviewed her for 10 minutes of her time can cost $40k USD and up. I'm assuming that Bianca does these for free as a favor to her fellow track friends. Based on her personality, she seems really cool and supportive to the people she calls friends. Allyson and Shelly don’t give platforms like this energy if you're not paying them a high amount or if the viewership isn’t at a certain level. Not to say that they've never or they’ll never do it, but if so, it’s rare that they'd come on an up-and-coming platform.

I love ShellyAnn, but she did something I don’t really like one year in Jamaica after a meet. If I’m not mistaken, it was the Racers Grand Prix. Jamaican journalists wanted an interview, but ShellyAnn told them she was tired and wanting to go home. She then proceeded to walk away, and not even 10 meters away, she stopped for overseas journalists. All of a sudden, she wasn’t tired anymore. I lost some respect for her after that, but I can’t deny she’s the best to ever grace the tracks. I say that to say this, People stop for you based off the eyes and readability of your platform and or the amount you can pay them.

Gatlin's being kind..Blake smoked Tyson Gay on 3rd leg. Whatever lead Gatlin gave the USA quickly evaporated and Bailey and Bolt were seemingly even at the hand off zone except it's deceptive b/c Jamaica has the inside lane a slightly shorter distance that can't be detected until the curve ends. I still say if Tyson had been fully healthy the US runs a 37-flat or better.

I always wished YOU ran the anchor in that race...... just so the fans could get one more chance at watching Gatlin vs Bolt down the finish. I know it's a relay and a 4 man team, but as fans we were just SO spoiled watching this insane rivalry throughout the years that it just left us wanting more. What a career... 👏👏👏👏 And I'm a huge Bolt fan too, like all fans were, but it was the rivalry between you and Bolt, the anticipation all season long... and you guys never disappointed. 🔥🔥

Honestly that was tough dealing with Blake and Bolt on 3rd and anchor. I honestly think what lost that race looking back was Gay weirdly because don't get me wrong he is tied at 2nd fastest man of all time but maybe it could have had more to do with Blake. Something got into Blake because Gatlin held it down on second leg but you can't honestly assume the Jamaican spinter on 2nd leg who is and all time great. At the end of the day Nester Carter has been great. Y'all had alot against you all in that race and still broke American record twice. Dealing with a guy running 9.6 is not easy for Bailey

Ima tell you about the 4×100 m. I've always anchored. I tried second leg and never did 3rd leg. That is something you can't fuck around with from a psychological aspect of each athlete. I was the second fastest runner on my team but didn't want to anchor any more and want thought me applying pressure on 1st leg would be best and putting our fastest runner at anchor. Man you cant switch up like that. The hand of chemistry is extremely important. They need to go buy timing base depending on what you will likely see and practice it. Making a change at the last second can throw it off because at taker is totally different from a giver and a taker and giver a critical. The anchor is only a taker and has no business giving ever if he hasn't done it.
