It is a good question about range in the cold - it is likely it will be similar to the ID.3. I would suggest a good habit with an EV is to charge it every night if you have access at home. That will keep it always topped up. Of course if we are talking longer journeys then maybe you need a car with higher range. You are right about pricing but the prices will come down as we move towards the banning of selling new ICE cars (2030 in the UK).

I think it’s good value but EVs are generally more expensive right now than petrol/diesel cars. With time prices will decrease.

I would say the standard suspension was comfortable and I didn’t have to think about where I was driving on the road. However, if you want to stiffen the car up and have more fun then I would suggest the DCC.

@@TechInTheCar at 16:31 you mentioned the car was softer when you put in in comfort mode? I am not confused, did it or did it not have DCC. Cause ride quality is very important. Let me know thanks!

You are correct; I was wrong before and have edited it. In the car, it did feel softer. The ride was good but I would always recommend testing it yourself if you can.

Just tested it and the ride was great. I was riding on 20 inch wheels and without dcc. Im surprised actually.

It is more than a re-skin. Because it looks better, has a better interior and has some technology the ID.3 doesn’t. However the ID.3 is a fantastic car.

I disagree about the interior of the Cupra. I think that it is a lot better than the ID.3. I do however agree that the new Kia models have great interiors.

My feelings exactly all negatives glossed over any thing that he likes he talks about extensively. Tiny glove box is poor money saving in conversion from left hand drive to right. Vw group don't care enough for right hand drivers to change the fuse box position! That said I do like this car. I do wish reviewers would stop quoting wltp range as if you will ever get near it!
