The writers here somehow made an episode with all of my favourite parts of Dragons Rising, that being - Lloyd and Arin's relationship - Zane in general - Kai and Wyldfire's relationship - retroactively fixing Crystalised - a crackhead situation, along with genuinely heartfelt moments sprinkled in the only bad part about it was no pencil sharpener for Arin

It's kind of scary how everyone just kinda forgets the purpose of their lives in the Administration and just goes along with the trope. Like all those waiting in line at the moment are probably dead in a few years and the employees are stuck with the need to fill in useless forms even though it's a very organised 9-5 job. (Though i don't even think these guys get to leave)

I feel like the new story writers for ninjago got the idea of "The administration" from SCP 3008. An infinite ikea

Is it just me or does it feel like Jay was supposed to have Zane's role in this episode? I say this because we get a Cole episode before this all about him, and if this were to include Jay it'd make sense for him to get one too. I just feel like this episode was written with Jay in mind, but the idea was scrapped because maybe they thought of something else for his charecter as they were developing the story, but they had the episode nearly written, it was too far in production to change wildly. So they slightly re-worked it to include Zane instead. The original draft of this episode might have ended the same way Cole's did, where he heard Wu's voice and went his own way. Second, Jay only appears for 20 seconds. If Jay WAS supposed to be part of the episode, there wouldn't be any other appearance of Jay in the entire season. The writers may have been like "We need to include Jay somehow" So hence the mini-cameo. Third, Zane appearing in the Administration out of nowhere seems like a last minute change or thought. Lastly, drawing Lloyd and Arin semi-badly and goofy on those permission forms seems more of something Jay would do. I don't know, I think the episode is really good overall. That's my personal thought anyways.

absolutely agreed. we dont need to see jay's birth mother and seeing her would undermine one of the only things prime empire got right. would be way more interesting as a new character!

Great video ! This episode is so great for so many reasons : - excellent characterization (Kai with Wyldfyre, Lloyd with Arin…) - world building (the Administration being in the Realm of Madness, the Cursed Realm still existing) - setting up of plotpoints for future seasons (Jay, the Admnistrator…) - very good gags This shows how much DR writers know what they want to do and how to do it : they manage to continue the principal plot of S1 while simultaneously preparing future seasons (while Crystalized wasn’t able to handle properly a single plotline). I already said it multiple times again I will say it again : Ninjago is in very good hands ! I’m so hyped for S2 !

This is probably my favorite episode due to the action, character interactions, the hilarious jokes, and best of all, Zane Yagami 😂 10/10 episode. Also, Jay is rocking that tuxedo!

@@SICPARVISMAGNA3018 I kinda don't believe that tbh. Here's my reason why: Jay has amnesia He encounters the team in one of their missions They decide to go back to the administration, since Arin probably recognized Jay They get Jay Life is good That's my theory in a nutshell

This is my favorite episode of the season Even if I don’t understand how the administration sent those people to the cursed realm even though the cursed realm was destroyed. The preeminent is in the departed realm, so did they just feed those people to the preeminent? That’s actually pretty darkly humorous

What I find especially interesting is that Jay showed no signs that he actually had amnesia. So he either actually turned evil or he is only pretending to help the Administration for his own investigation purposes (Or he just wants to play games and does not care.). Let us hope we find out more about this in Season 2. My gut is telling me that it will be connected to Cole's journey, but my gut also told me the Time Twins were gonna be the Vengestone buyers, so...

Based on the theme of the next season being about the evil elemental masters and possibly a second tournament of elements, I think the administration is going to be in season 3 and if not the second half of season 2.

I give Ninjago Dragons Rising Episode 17 The Administration a 10/10 Such a Awesome Fantastic Amazing Episode Yes Jay had a Super Small Role but They’re Clearly Saving Him He’ll Return in Ninjago Dragons Rising Season 2 I was Happy to See Jay Again and I didn’t mind seeing him in a Super Small Role I thought he was Done Perfectly Well. (Unfortunately I Never Played the BackRooms Games but I definitely Do Agree that the Administration Place Definitely gives me BackRoom Vibes and it Definitely looks like the BackRooms as Well)😎🔥

@@Crusty783 thats what I do as well, unfortunately due to the vpn it won't play on my TV. Really don't understand why they didn't release it on Netflix here. Germany has Dragons Rising across multiple services, wonder why they didn't do that for the UK as well.
