I think the poster meant if no name or photographs were to be released , that it it hinders or delays the trial. They said they felt they had enough to arrest him and now in doing so, they can speak to friends and family etc because prior to arresting him, no one knew they were looking at him and they didn't want him to know that they were onto him 2 weeks prior to the arrest.
