I've been trying to think of what this era of rap was called at that time. Didn't realize it was called the blog era. Late 00's, early 10's. That was my teen years, really dope music back then and the artists were so influential in everything they did, it was crazy. I remember listening to Wiz back in like 2010 and being amazed by that dudes style. I started to dress like him wearing camo shorts, chucks, snapbacks, and diamond tees.

I'm not a big fan of the blog era but I truly felt like around early 10s so many new artists that came around this time period both mainstream and underground took risk and try to be different from everyone else and had their own sound flows and styles unlike so many new artists in 2020s I truly feel like artists from 2020s both underground and mainstream all sound the same and most don't take risk and try to be unique and different from everyone else.
