Although the void appears completely dark to our eyes, solving its mysteries could paradoxically shine a light on outstanding problems in our theories of the universe’s evolution, structure, and perhaps even the nature of the elusive dark matter itself. The vast nothingness may contain hidden insights into cosmic something we are yet to understand.

Does it not make more sense that the void was generated because its matter, over the eons, migrated via gravity to the superclusters which surround it? I understand the desire to attribute it to the currently popular, highly theoretical "dark energy", but...

Indeed. It is not as if we did not postulate that advanced civilizations would use the complete energy output of stars or even galaxies. We just don't see something in visible light and voila, we think that there is nothing.

You not knowing that humans discovered non-human languages (like how other mammals communicate) does not mean that "we" think only humans developed it. Language and culture are not unique to humans. Art and religion arguably is, because, well, those are quite high cognitive functions, and humans are the most cognitive species on Earth, so it's not surprising we developed the best and worst aspects of it first.

The actual situation in astrophysics is first that we have no proven idea of what dark energy is or whether it even existsand secondly we can't even prove dark matter exist as all of the experiments hus far have been unable to produce even the minutest bit of it. We have now finally shown real evidence that the expansion of the universe is not uniform in all directions and that has also raised very serious questions about some of the basic assumpions about the big bang theory as it is currently understood. When you do your program you should not make assertions about things we are still very uncertain about.

Basically, dark matter is a fudge factor because general relativity falls apart outside of the solar system or systems with similar velocity at least. Basically, when gravitational lensing showed higher than predicted force, instead of saying what's wrong with GR ? They said, " must be an invisible matter present" Sadly, the AI I was using to do the modified calculations that proved it had a digital heart attack at the initial results and now flat out refuses to calculate modified versions of GR 😮 😂

Nice! I have a different theory. Those voids are black holes imploding. So the Black hole is the dark matter and when it gets to be empty cause it eats up all matter becomes empty so it implodes that is what we see as dark energy cause beside every void a bunch of galaxy clusters form due to gravity. Matter going together antimatter pushes it apart. What makes them move is the dark energy. Though it still has cosmic rays, quark. nouns may be some sub-atomic particles. I look at the big band from the opposite side. It was a big implode when gravity and matter started from the dark matter that imploded and the dark energy pushed everything apart. Gravity and electromagnetism masses created galaxies and clusters of galaxies centred around a black hole. dark matter. When the black hole eats up all matter (galaxy) then implodes and creates a huge void in the infinity of space. Or in the continuum. (382 million years it was the cosmic dark age) So eventually just like all empty spaces will fill up or get bigger. Bigger cause of the dark energy pushing it apart or more concentrated due to gravity. This is why keeps getting bigger and speeding up. Until it evaporates to nothing. Remember space is getting bigger and galaxies getting smaller cause they all fell into it's own black holes. So when trillions of years when nothing is left the nothing has to implode again creating space and time and the imperfection of that energy creates the matter and it keeps going and going in a never-ending cycle. In time we don't know where we are cause in the infinity there is no need and no beginning only continuum. Scale it down. Earth and the cycle of life on it. Balance is the key in the Universe. So infinity is made up of 2 things: be or not to be? The only 2 things in Infinity are given are space and time. Time is meaningless outside of the Earth. Today is +- trillions on the power of trillions on the power of trillions ... No end no beginning just is or just be! The rest is beyond our human comprehension (definitely beyond Joe Biden's) but some people can't accept that we don't know so they created God and religion to conclude and justify everything. PS: Dark energy or dark matter will never be proven only the opposite of the energy and the matter. Are there starving people in Africa? How do I know it? Take it on faith or go there to find out. If I can't go there should I assume there are? Can Joe Biden still lead the free world with dementia? Or take it on faith? The hardest thing to understand for any human being is the unknown and the explanation is "we don't know" (anybody? I like factual theories)

These subjects are always interesting to think about but if a person continues to depend fully on the theories of modern science then they will be chasing their tail forever drowning in a sea of theories. Of course science is always quick to magnify an image on a screen, label it in some way then talk endlessly about it like they understand it. These mysterious things were understood many thousands of years ago and described in detail in the oldest books on the planet, but the arrogance of the modern materialist scientists led them to mock the information because it was presented in a strange format that they couldnt understand and it didnt fit into their limited understanding of humanitys past or their viewr of "reality". What we can see or even use instruments to study is one layer of a system a lot older, larger and much more complex than what we have access to. If you reach a point where most of what you discover has to be labelled "Dark Energy" and cant be visually seen or examined with your most sophisticated instruments then common sense should tell you that theres more to this than just our layer of "reality".

It's the result of entropy, which is repulsive. And these voids are the result of higher dimensional boundaries. It's nothing apocalyptic, it's simply the evolutionary form of mature 3D Euclidean space. Also dark energy is mass, its a repulsive or anti gravitational counterpart of positive quantum presure in gravational supersymmetry in dark matter, however. An asymmetry of the singularity is creating voids in 3D Euclidean space.
