Join me in the Cambrian Mountains as I search for the lesser-known phenomenon of soil piping. Using my 'soil pipe cam' I capture never-before-seen footage from inside the pipes, and explain how they form and why they can be dangerous.

Almost immediately after your look into the flowing soil pipe, I asked myself "Good, now we have to have him go back in the dry season and have another look then" and there you do. Very fine, clearly explained and educational.

Just outside of Rotorua New Zealand a 600m long 22m deep soil pipe opened up in an area called earthquake flat. It actually went under a highway and resulted in an underground bridge being built to rectify, this was in 2018.
