It's absolutely true that cycling changes one's mood. Almost like a antidepressant. It reminds me of childhood days when running out of the house/school/whatever. You instantly feel the wind, the speed and the sensation to be not trapped any more. Nice review!

Hey Mike - Can you get the bike up to 28mph on throttle? I'm riding an Aventon with a 20mph top speed and it's terrifying to go so slow on the road between trails. Also, do you really think it will go 60 miles on a charge. I am getting 20 on my Aventon if I ride conservatively. Pretty bike and really like the color.

Bought a UK spec one recently (I'm from the UK). The build quality, as you say is very soild, unfortunately, our laws only allow a 250 Watt motor before you need a driving license, insurance, registration etc. Although an increase in the power limit to 500 Watts is on the books. I'm 20 stones (280 pounds) so the motor struggles a bit on hills. Vanity made me get the standard bike and not the ST but I'm not as flexable as I was so for me the ST would have been a better choice, (have fallen over leaning the bike so much that I could get my leg over the saddle, LOL). Only issue I've had was my own fault. Didn't secure the crank side pedal enough on assembly and so it worked loose stripping the thread resulting in me having to buy a new one. Himiway UK do sell all of the components necessary to make it "Land of the free" spec but you risk falling foul of the law unless you treat it as a moped. But, yeh, love it and hopefully get fit enough to ride my purly manual bike again, or just turn the power assist down😁.
