Took on Mughals, Portugese, Siddis, Adil Shahi Empire, Durranis and Britishers. Fulfilled Shivaji Maharaj's dream of having 'Swaraj' from Attock to Cuttack. A race of fierce, skilled warriors and able administrators, who, if not be undone by their own internal politics, would have ruled for at least 200-250 years. Still, their achievements cannot and must not be overlooked and should be given greater importance on our history books.

did not even mention how Sikhs assisted marathas and played a key role in the maratha conquest of north.. atleast 3 battles were fought by marathas under sikh allaince where it was a combined indian army of sikhs and marathas against durranis..
