As a Spurs fan I used to hate the heat 😂 it's so hard to now cuz they're so fun to watch

They have a wall of lockdown defenders in Butler, Bam, Iguodala, Crowder, and DJJ. Which I think can rival Beverley, PG, Kawhi, Harrell Defense.

That's because butler is mostly iso ball but you need a guy who can get his own shot along with good ball movement

@@charlesr7269 Butler came into the league as a defender, a great off ba movement guy with great cuts to the basket, used to catch a ton of alleys from d rose, and a good mid range spot up shooter. He evolved his iso game massively but he's really an all around player, slashes and disrupts defenses a lot on this Heat team to create shots for open shooters, and is an unreal game closer. It's the perfect goddam fit

I think the only quality he's best at on his team is iso ball and closing games. But to me what makes him special is his all around game, some players have roles on that team, he does it all

Jimmy Buckets brings a rep. Defense and toughness. A no nonsense guy on the court. High BB IQ. Will defend his teammates. We had him here in Philly. I think he brought a certain maturity to that locker room. We are left with Tobias Harris, who's not the most intimidating guy, but Go Miami!

Spoelstra was a finalist last year and I think he's always on the finalist multiple times but hasn't won. This guy is a genius. He is just a humble coach.

I don't think Lebron had any interest in playing this way. It takes so much work off the ball, modern superstars in general usually don't want to do it and Lebron especially is someone who wants everything to run through him in the pick and roll game.

Well the Heat were shorthanded (No Butler or Dragic). Plus, they're the Bucks, best defense in the NBA.

Pretty sure it's read and react. The slot cut works best when there's a player already in the corner and the cut happens. But it depends a lot on how the help defense plays the drive etc.

If he never left, he could have had more rings. Too bad LeBron wants to have a high degree of say in the teams he is in. One of the few who stood up to him include Pat Riley. Miami is lucky to have Pat Riley at the helm and Coach Spo, plus it definitely is one of the best run franchises in the league.

Yeah LeBron wants to be the coach too. Which is cool and you see where it has taken him. But I feel like if he allowed himself to be coached he would have went to teams with great coaches and he would have listened to Spo in his above average days. I feel like this is the team that Spo has dreamed of since his debut. Of course they can add more pieces but I think he can do more with this team from a coaching perspective than he could with the big three.

VonJay he doesn’t have the skill set for this type of game. He wouldn’t be able to average 27/7/7. He would be more like 22/5/6 for his career. He basically would be a better shooting draymond in this this type of offense.
