From the on/off switch to the fence and the spindle lock. That’s one of the dopest battery powered routers out.

As noted by other commenters, the centering mandrel is used for PC guide bushings. However, in this case, I think Flex included it because they provide two bases and you need the mandrel to change bases (as you noted). It's nice that it comes with the router as the few that I have, I had to purchase separately. Also, cool new juice groove in the picnic table. Every family that has kids should add that juice groove to their picnic table. ;-)

The top looking device is a router bit centering cone for use of centering the baseplate to work with Porter Cable guide bushings. It looks like a super great choice of cordless router if you’re in the market for one.

I like it !!!! Only thing I would change is the base. In my opinion I think it should be made of metal not plastic, because metal will last longer.

The Dewalt/Porter Cable adjustment ring should just be the industry standard, no question. All manufacturers need at least some iteration of it. Real nass review bro, I’ve been waiting on this one. Routers are like crack to me. 😂

did you ever get it? you can get it free (or pick from a list of 24V flex tools) if you buy a charger and 3.5 ah stacked battery for 199 at lowes

I hope this becomes the standard style for all of them. From what I could see this was designed from the ground up to contain the best ergonomics possible above all else and omg it looks like a pleasure to use. If I didn't have a makita one already (and if flex was available here) I would definitely want this one

I knew this was coming out but I needed a router before this hit the market so I picked up a Ridgid, which works really well. I think the deal was buy two battery pack and get a free tool so I took the Ridgid router. And, though it works really well, I can see myself picking up this Flex router. It looks amazing and I have 7 other Flex tools and batteries

Clint bro how the hell are ya?!? I would love to see you check out the Metabo HPT 36v brushless plunge router. Power for days, and only 1/2” cordless plunge router as of now (Milwaukee coming out with one soon). Also the Makita 40v XGT router is very impressive as well. Im still not entirely sold on Flex yet but i think they are finally understanding there is more to tools than just power!

not sure if you answer comments on older vids but I just bought one of these (2024 is the last year of lifetime warranty for flex purchases). Did you notice the highest speed being painfully loud? I put in a 1 notch left 3.5 ah stacked battery and it's painfully loud on speed 6 while a fully charged 3.5 sounds normal like yours. I doubt I have a defective one but haven't seen anything about a "noise letting you know the battery is low". The tool is beautiful but a bit hefty. just curious about that noise that makes me wanna plug my ears. To be clear, I pulled it out of the box and ran it without a router bit in

I have been a Flex fanboy for two years now, but they clearly copied the DeWalt depth adjustment (the best style of depth adjustment). I hope they didn't infringe on any patents. Get one quick, everybody, is all I'm sayin'. 😅

I think if other tool companies don't start following suit of what other tool companies are doing that one of them's going to supremely dominate like the fact that this router comes with all the accessories. So all routers look like routers, but makita routers look like makita routers. Come to think of it bosch routers look like bosch routers, and dewalt routers look like dewalt routers. That there flex is a gray dewalt router, my friend lol.
