For any one who has witnessed cancer first hand in a family member, I am thrilled, happy and proud of King Charles and Queen Camilla.

King Charles is impressive. At 75 he's doing his job when a lot of men would be hanging a 'Gone Fishing' sign on the door. I truly believe his mother was the monarch her time needed and the King is the monarch this time needs. Long live King Charles!

I'm American and I got teary eyed to see King Charles out and about. He's not going to let this get him down and I totally believe "What's in your mind is in your life". I suspect Princess Catherine is doing the same thing, she will not be a victim of a horrible disease because she's seeing herself winning this war against it.

The King has inherited his late mother's sense of duty. With a diagnosis of cancer, he could have taken a year away from public appearances and few would criticize. However, his commitment has brought him back to work. And yes, his sense of compassion has amplified.

The King seemed to enjoy speaking to people who could relate to what he was going through. I think he gained as much from the patients as they did him. Therapy for all 😊

I am a cancer survivor and I can tell you, it meant a lot to those patients for him to come there. I am American and I am very proud of him.

I hate cancer, it’s awful. It stole my father in 2020 after they told him he was “cancer free,” I guess they forgot to check his brain. I miss you, Dad. 😞

I noticed King Charles sitting down and talking to individuals and it was lovely to see.

King Charles always gives his full attention to whoever he is speaking to. His interaction is genuine. King Charles has had a long road, growing up in great scrutiny, under the rules of a different time. Glad he has a strong supportive wife and William and family.

I thought, under the circumstances, King Charles looks well. And Camilla looked lovely...I think Charles does worry more than we think, about public opinion. He looked genuinly happy

I love seeing King Charles feeling well enough to get out and visit other cancer patients and try to lift their spirits. I wish him all the best.

It was good to see King Charles in public today and to visit with cancer patients and their family member. It was moving to see him interacting with the children. If the tie is from his grandson, it is a sign also of his love of his grandson.

Looking forward to the state visit to the Uk of the Emperor and Empress of Japan in June . Its very exciting . The King is doing his best under very difficult circumstances and Queen Camilla is supporting him Admirably.

I don’t call it his Princess Diana moment. It’s King Charles returning to his Royal duties with a personal view on those who are undergoing cancer.

King Charles is admirable. He maintains the ‘ majesty’ of the monarchy, yet brings a modern ability to interact more personably with the public. He is bringing his own unique outlook to his role.

US news covered King Charles returning to his royal duties. I think he looked great - after chemo - he would look a little pale and thinner. But, he did look happy! How sweet that he wore the tie that his eldest grandchild gave him. I'm very touched by that - and Prince George must have been thrilled when he was shown his grandfather was wearing the tie he gave him.

How wonderful that HMTK returned to service at a hospital given his diagnosis. I give him a lot of credit for sharing what he's going through with the public.

It's not too often that you see KC's sensitive side as he did today with the little girl and her mother gifting the King with flowers. How wonderful; you could almost feel the joy within his heart. As a former chemotherapy patient for eleven months, sometimes getting out and focusing on others can be good for one's soul. JS. GG from Texas.

Our late wonderful Queen Elizabeth made no errors of judgment in her time. She was & is much beloved. Her son, our King is doing his very best in trying circumstances. Poor health- especially cancer is so difficult. Kind thoughts for the Princess Catherine also.

❤ such a sweet thing for the King to do; he looked quite handsome in his tie! I'm glad King Charles has decided to be more "human" and relax some of the old policies and protocols. I'm sure the patients much appreciated the visit and it seemed to uplift them.

Neil my friend I think that King Charles is a kind and caring man. King Charles is the only one who really knows how he feels, but it is important that he doesn't overdo.🇺🇲❤️

I am not a big crier (cryer.) but I was moved by this visit. I know that there is still worry for his own health, but being so intimate with others that are undergoing the same battle, hopefully was uplifting and inspiring for him as well as those he met.

I DON'T KNOW HOW HE DOES IT! When I was diagnosed with cancer all I wanted to do was go down a rabbit hole! MY ENTIRE WORLD WAS LITERALLY TURNED UPSIDE DOWN! King Charles has shown the world that he is a strong, genuine, loving and compassionate man. I think the fact he is going through it at the same time is why it resonated and why the patients were so touched. This was really a wonderful thing to do.

This visit made King Charles a very real compassionate brave man who obviously looked good but wasn't on top of the world himself, the good he did for those brave patients and also lifting his own spirits as they are going through it together. Wishing Charles Catherine Furgie and all cancer suffers a good recovery ❤

What an amazing day. The King went and spoke to the cancer patients. It truly. Made him more like one of us. I delt with lung cancer. QEII was raised by the last of the Edwardians. They lived a different royal life- had a different style. Hence her more reserved behavior. This is not trying to take away from all the great things QEII did! She did evolve over the years.
